Default Facebook post modified

I just noticed this post was altered on my Face Book fun wall. I'm not sure when, but the original post was in April. I don't remember what the original post was but it now says:

Quote:
This post was removed because false claims of reward on forward is not allowed.

Sorry Vin! It wasn't me. Not sure what that is about. False claims?

Without seeing the original posts it is hard to know specifically why the couple of posts were removed. However, remembering some of the types of posts I have seen in facebook, I wonder if the posts included some statement promising good luck or fortune if the post was forwarded to some number of friends or bad luck or bad fortune if it was not forwarded to some number of friends. Maybe they are trying to stop pyramid good luck schemes because of the way things can get cluttered up from them. Personally, I've just sort of laughed at such posts. But I suppose they could be viewed as invasive by some folks if there are too many of them around unchecked.

Could be Michael. They may have identified an application or posts undesireable and modified all the links to it. That's all I can think of. Unless Vin was trying to sell me the tunnel sticker to the Cape.

I agree though. A chain letter of some sort could be annoying to some. I havn't seen anything harmful however so I'm not sure. May be something to watch and perhaps post if we see it.

Thats pretty interesting.. That would mean that someone actually reads those things...

I definitely don't read them unless I'm at home bored..
