Finally! I got re-listed with Yahoo after being banned for 2 years.

WagerX.com was banned from yahoo for some unknown reason about 2 years ago. From what I read on the web it's almost impossible to have a ban lifted with them.

Before, I noticed that my sites that were fine with yahoo, were receiving about 20% off total traffic just from yahoo alone. Even though it's 20% over the long run it means a lot.

If you have the same problem then PM me and I'll tell you how exactly how to do it.

    congrats friend!
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

    wagerx,

I too continue to be banned from yahoo. I will be going on my third year. Not enough time to fully explore the reasons so it remains a mystery.

What I do know is when the slurp bot travels my site the return is 304. Maybe times are changing with yahoo? congrats on you reinstatment!

    Hey WagerX,

Congrats on getting re-instated! 20% is still a lot of traffic to be coming to your site... and traffic = money....LoL

Hit me with a PM, i managed to get a old site relisted once not sure if you used similar techniques. The problem with Yahoo is they dont like affiliate sites unless they have a stack of unique content and then its still dodgy and they openly admitted this a few times in the past. The less affiliate sites in there index the better so Yahoo think & cloaking your aff links dosnt always work with Yahoo.

    CasinoPortal, PM sent.

Yea one of the things I did was to redirect ALL affiliate links to a 301 redirect for each affiliate. I also placed the affiliate banners on my local server with their own file names.

    Good Luck

WOW - nice luck or great work either way its awesome news.

I always blamed my site removal from yahoo serps on inktomi. I had a paid listing with them for a few years and then right before Y! purchased them they had sent out notices about buying another listing at a higher price.

Well I refused to buy in and my site(s) which were using the paid listings all vanished from yahoo. Other sites which I operated which didnt use the paid listings remained in the listings. I always figured they put sites that didnt renew at the higher price on a black list.
