First 35 Sites Awarded GPWA Approved Portal Seal

I'm very pleased to announce that the "GPWA Approved Portal" seal of approval program is now officially launched and fully operational!

During the pre-launch period we received many applications from webmasters who wanted to display the seal on their site. The membership committee (and especially CityGuard) have been busy reviewing these applications, and have already awarded the right to display the seal of approval to 35 sites.

If you are a current GPWA private member, and would like to be a participant in this new program, please pm CityGuard with the URLs of the websites on which you would like to use the seal.

If you are not currently a private GPWA member, and would like to become one so that you can participate in the new GPWA Seal of Approval program, please register to become a private member - just click on the "register" navigation item on the top navigation bar, and follow the directions for applying to becoming a private member.

Hi Mike, yes, unfortunately we haven't made much headway on the applications. However, once the membership review is completed the seal of approval review becomes fairly quick (since most of the research has already been completed for the membership portion).
