Default Focal Click hasn't paid me for over a year

    Hi guys,

Focal Click hasn't paid me for over a year.
    They owe me over $20k.
Keep getting the same answers from my account manager (let me check, let me get back to you) and nothing happens.
I know others are having issues as well.

What's the best way to approach this?

Do they accept the fact of the accumulated commission or do they search for a cause to reject the payment?

They accept the fact. Just coming up with never ending excuses why it is delayed.

UPDATE: six month have passed since my last update, Focal had paid a third of what they were supposed to, after nagging Elliott weekly.

There is still a big chunk being owed and I get no answers.

Affiliate Programs with Predatory terms is one thing, but not getting paid for almost two years is quite another.

No one seems to care that we have families to feed and businesses to run.

Promote these guys and you risk chasing your commissions for years if you'll ever get anything.

What happened with the PM you sent Rick? Or didn't that gain traction...

I recall this being posted to AGD. Reiterating my comments in the AGD thread... I've know Elliot for literally years (12+ maybe), and he's always been a gentleman, a man of his word. TBH, I'm actually gobsmacked (speechless) you've not been paid in full.

Elliot if your reading this, what's going on over at Focal???

Have to agree with the OP, I too would be warning others about Focal et al, and advising everyone to be vary wary of them.

    @remoremo - Send me a PM I'll see what I can do!

    Dave,

I also was surprised to hear of the issue remoremo was having, like Dave I know FocalClick to be pretty fair over the years and I always felt that Elliot was part of why most issues I have known about to be worked out.

remoremo, if you still have not gotten your issue resolved, and you want Dave to reach out, be sure to only send Dave your details privately as he may have more regular contact with Elliot then I do.

    Rick,

When I posted to AGD, and also my shock about how this matter was being handle (more so not), I added my personal experience with Elliot, standing by his long time established A+ reputation in the industry.

I did receive a PM from Elliot soon after, thanking me.

Can't go into specifics of that PM - it was a private conversation. What I can say is, I was under the impression the OP somehow had slipped through the crack, for whatever reason... By the end of that PM, I held no doubt that Elliot would sort this out, and get remoremo paid in full, ASAP.

Frankly I'm just surprised and shell shocked as everyone else, that this unpaid commission is STILL ongoing.

Not much comfort I know, and I'm not trying to defend Elliot here. However an AM, or program manager, is not the owner. They can't move mountains, if the mountain wont budge.

Please PM me your details remoremo, and I'll reach out to Elliot once again, and see what the issue is, and hopefully get you finally paid in full.

Edit: Logged into AGD just now, and saw more posts over there about non payments etc. This is getting absurd. Hence, I've just reached out to Elliot via PM (again), to try and figure out what's going on, and subsequently try my hardest to get something happening for the affected affiliates.

I can't promise anything, the best I can do is hope my long time industry friendship with Elliot, carries some weight.

I'll keep everyone in the loop.

Thanks guys your help is much appreciated.

As mentioned, there are lots of other guys on AGD who haven't been paid.
The strategy (seemingly) is to pay small affiliates small chunks, and avoid paying a few big affiliates big amounts.

I have sent traffic for over a decade to 150+ programs, never had anything like it is an understatement.
I just hope as many affiliates will see this before promoting them.

Elliott knows who I am and is aware that I will not rest until I get paid in full.

Few months to London. Ask them there, in a full hotel bar.

Last time I posted anything about Focalclick on here (in a thread I hadn't even started), I received an e-mail with a thinly-veiled 'surprise' that I was talking about them in public, instead of only in private. It stuck with me.

eta. it wasn't a negative post either, from what I recall - just an enquiry, but the resulting response left a sour taste that's lingered ever since, I'm sorry to say.

    Thumbs down

Fact is that they owe many partners their commission over months. What should they doing on LAC ? To listen that they are marked as rogue ? They would be ashamed to be present there.

Are they actually attending LAC? I'm not going to LAC (ever) so haven't checked. If they're turning up there, bloody hell...

Elliot is a very decent and responsive affiliate manager. He helped me out a few times in the past when I had payment issues, but there's only so much that he can do if the program is experiencing serious payment issues. Sadly, Omni casino was the last Playtech casino that I was promoting, but now I've removed that listing.

He could play open card at least. I do not expert affiliate managers paying affiliates from their own pocket, but playing open card could be the least.

Guys, does anybody know Elliott's alternative contact except his focalclick email?
Contact form doesn't work, support@ also doesn't work.
They are silent for a couple of months already.

As I posted at AGD, I reached out to Elliott a couple of times, but STILL affiliates are owed commissions.

    • Omni Casino is still operational;
    • STILL accepting deposits.
    • Staff are obviously being paid (both casino and focal click), so too are royalties to Playtech.
    • Seems a high percentage of affiliates have not been paid for almost 2 years.
    • AFAIK there are no affiliate payment plans setup or if there are, Focal Click promises haven't been forthcoming.

Emails, contacts which were operational, have since gone silent.

Hypothetically... How much in total, are Focal Click affiliates owed? 3Mil, 5Mil, 10Mil or more...

To throw some clarity into the pot, I'm 99.999% sure if staff we not paid for a month, they'd walk.

    Edit:

ThePOGG has the following company details:
https://thepogg.com/company/peak-interactive-n-v/ Might be worth chasing that up (hounding).

It's reached blacklist/rogue status time. Long overdue. We're not owed money (well, $20) but it's a rogue casino not paying or communicating with its advertisers. I'll be letting my visitors know within days.

I'm not owed anything either, but stuck my neck out to get some answers from Elliott (having known him for years) and I'm told affiliates WILL get paid. I've never known Elliott to twist-the-truth, so I took his word as gospel. However, that was months ago. Yet, and sadly, the status quo remains of no payments.

Sad to see Omni Casino (est 1997), Focal Click et al go under, but the proverbial writing is on the wall - these operations need blacklisting!
