    Default Fortune Affiliates & Buffalo Move

    I am not interested in having an account with Buffalo so asked Fortune Affiliates to close my account and pay me the Ä24 odd balance in there. This is the response. First, it seems as if they don't want to pay it, then there is an Ad Hoc payment? Not sure which to believe.

    Hey XXXX,

    We are very capable of making a payment however the processing house that is used to pay the affiliates has a threshold and that is why it was part of our terms. Service fees which we donít place on the affiliate is the main driver as to pay such a low amount coupled with the amount paid it doesnít make business sense hence the minimum threshold.

    I will have the account locked however the data will all be taken over by Buffalo partners, this will be happening. You donít have to do anything with the account if you donít want to do business with them, we are not forcing you to open an account with them.


    Due to the circumstance of the brands now moving to another program we will be granting special approvals for nominal amounts to be paid. This will be actioned first week of May 2018.

    I will confirm with you once I have been notified that the adhoc payment has been released.

    You know, for dumb criminals like Buffalo "such a low amount" normally is not worth writing an email, so they decided to add another pre-written textblock into the mail, regardless, if it makes sense or not.

    Buffalo is one of the finest Mark of Cain in this industry. Almost everyone has swallowed their Smoothies, but almost no one ever cared about their crimes and called for consequences.

    Normally, outstanding people cannot take people from this industry serious, because obviously most of them are suffering by NBCS (Natural Brownnoser Calculus Syndrome), FDDM (Freud Displacement Defense Mechanism) to ignore the obvious, and some in this industry unfortunately are complete idiots, who don't care about anything, not only because they refuse to do so but because some have a tremendous lack of mental minimum requirement to do so.

    If AffPower would not be such a great clickbait story for many websites in this industry, do you really believe, they would still make such a big thing of it?

    And what about Buffalo?
    Motto: Wait until everything is forgotten and out of the news.
    Then the show can go on.
    And everyone can continue to swallow their smoothies, with a clear conscience, a pseudo clear conscience, because this feeling is blossomed into a collective cowardice.

    Why are so many companies going to them, after knowing the fact that they have a terrible standing in front of affiliates.

    I know that there are many affiliates that have had issues with both Buffalo and Fortune but they have predominantly been fair with me.

    We are very pragmatic in our approach to casino partners looking at the direct return on spend, earnings per click and brand interest (based on click through rates by region). In certain markets it is imperative to work with these brands as they out perform all the others. I also believe that they have "cleaner" revenue share than most other casinos, you can see this by tracking deposits to affiliate revenue over time.

    In terms of the "hackgate" situation, I believe more could have been done to stop these affiliates. They were not the only casinos that continued to work with these scum affiliates though. I am however unwilling to cut out one of our best performing partners for this transgression.

    I am happy that the programs are combining as Buffalo retain better than Fortune and will hopefully increase our returns. The only downside is that we now have less diversity in our book and will need to send additional traffic to some of the programs that are less profitable.

    To be fair I am not commenting on their level of expertise or fairness. We all know what FA is capable of do we not!!

    My reason for writing this is to follow up and confirm that they did pay me.

    Buffalo certainly retain a lot better than Fortune - they retain it all don't they

    The history and background with Buffalo actually goes much deeper than simply whether they paid affiliates or not, when the site hacking, hidden pages and that whole mess blew up some time back, Buffalo was one of the groups that absolutely refused to help the bulk of the affiliates combat the issue, and continued to work directly with those behind a whole lot of the hacking.

    This particular thread is not really about that portion of the problem, but does touch on it to a degree.

    There is quite a bit of information concerning what took place, as well as the stance that Buffalo took on the matter, so their is no need for additional conspiracy to be added to it

    If I am not mistaken, their stance has not changed considerably, and they will continue to take the traffic, whether it comes from hacked or compromised websites or not, even when proven without doubt of the source of the traffic.

    Yes, Buffalo could have immediately stopped working with them, and withheld their commissions etc, but they clearly stated they would not. However MANY other groups did.

    I personally think their actions during that time, hurt their reputation to a degree that they now are rarely trusted in many affiliate circles.

    I'm very intrigued to see what will be happening here as I have been getting a very reasonable amount each month from the many many years I've been referring players to both Buffalo (or Referback as it was when I started), and Fortune Affiliates.

    I've recently noticed that my Buffalo Partners account keeps getting locked (and no idea why). My Fortune Affiliates account is still working but I've downloaded copies of all reports just in case.

    For the time being I will remain optimistic and keep my fingers crossed.

    Of course time will tell, and as you say their rep may have suffered enough that they're not getting so much new interest.

    I successfully merged my Fortune Affiliates and Buffalo Partners accounts together a few hours ago.

    When I initially logged into Buffalo Partners, it correctly showed that my Fortune player accounts were transferred to Buffalo Partners.

    When I logged back into the account a few hours later, all my Fortune players and the revenue they generated was missing.

    Perhaps they are still ironing out some bugs in the system. I've contacted support nevertheless. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I wanted to merge the accounts with no success. The address field is required, but I had no address saved at FA, so I couldn't choose an address, as it is not possible to enter one. I suggest to wait a few days with the migration.

    I tried to do the merge but got an error saying that my user name and password were wrong. I don't know whether they were referring to the Buffalo or Fortune password but I double checked both of them and they both work so not sure what the issue is.
    I have emailed support and waiting on a response.

    SO they merged a few accounts into Fortune, and then merging into buffalo, do we need to merge all the fortune accounts or just the main one? can we just keep them all seperate? I no longer promote them but get a good residual per month still

    allfreechips, I think you have to merge all the fortune accounts. Some people are not able to merge their accounts together. When they click on the Next button to merge the accounts, nothing happens. I think they'll have this fixed shortly.

    Luckily, I only have one Fortune account to worry about, but I'm assuming that Fortune player accounts that are not (claimed/merged) will be absorbed by the program since they are no longer linked to an affiliate account, and the affiliate program that managed them no longer exists. I'm just speculating and don't know for sure.

    Has anyone successfully merged their accounts, and can see ALL their players from BOTH Fortune and Buffalo in the system?

    sweetbet, I'm able to see the money that I made with Fortune Affiliates. You should be able to see it if you go to Menu - Reporting - Fortune Archived Report and then just hit the Download button. By default, you should be set to Earnings instead of Financial, which is located under the Type heading.

    We see a mess on our accounts , many players have no revenue in report although when we took screen shot we have deposits showing , big player missing completely and we cannot get the 2nd account to merge at all.I will give it a few days for them to sort it out and explain.
