French court: Poker is a game of skill

A court in France ruled that poker is a game of skill, not chance, in a case against a Frenchman who was accused of running private poker events without a proper license.

The ruling exempts the accused from France's illegal gambling laws. The prosecution said they will appeal the ruling.

Well of course its skill!! with a little bit of luck like in everything else in life! A great Poker player can play and win without even looking at his own cards!
