Full Tilt wants to help ID thieves

Full Tilt will not issue checks without you submitting a copy of your driver's license and a copy of a recent cc/utility bill to a blackhole called "cashier@fulltiltpoker.com".

Apparently, the fact that FT has my US bank account information and has sent payments to that institution, it's not enough to verify me.

I've asked that they reconsider and they have refused.

Full Tilt has given no assurances that my personal information will be safe at all. It's obvious to me that once I send a picture of my DL and a recent bill, any thieve could go nuts with the info.

I am blown away by this behavior, and I am unlikely to recommend Full Tilt going forward.

sad to say that is pretty much SOP for players to endure to get their withdrawals at most places.
