G2E Event in Vegas - November 2009 (and Pubcon?)

Hi,

Just wondering if GPWA will be at G2E again this year?

I thoroughly enjoyed last year's event http://gpwaconference.com/LasVegas2008/ - although not that many people made it, I know that everyone that did had a brilliant time and learned a lot from it.

If there is no planned event, then I am probably still going to Vegas in November for both the Pubcon event (10th-13th) and the G2E (17th-19th), so if anyone else is thinking of going to either event, it would be great to get together and share notes over a drink or two

That's great to hear, as this will be the first webmaster conference I've been to (as opposed to affiliate conference), so looking forward to seeing new topics discussed. Also, will be good to see familiar topics (seo etc,) covered by people in different industries - always like to get a different take on these things

By the way, the main reason I'm going is I just signed up for a year of SEOmoz pro and they threw in a free ticket for pubcon (which they say is worth $799) - if anyone wants a link for that offer, let me know and I'll post it here.

Are there any plans for an event/conference for this year's G2E, like last year?

I might go; I haven't decided yet. I'm not sure if I want to pay to attend Pubcon -- it seems expensive. I wonder if it's worth the price?

I remember seeing you went before and it made me interested. Already have comps there for hotels etc. but could you fill us in on cost of the event/sessions? What is worth seeing?

It isn't announced yet but the more mainstream side to our company "iGaming Business" should (if all goes to plan) be working with G2E this year on introducing a 2 days of content to their conference focusing on online poker in the USA - Although their normal conference costs we are hoping this specific track will be free of charge to encourage maximum attendance. This isn't an affiliate conference but more mainsteam, should be interesting though

Its looking 99% likely =- Have their contract on my desk - Basically this year it will be content focused as its unlikely any online companies will exhibit - But there should be 4 - 6 interesting panels focused on onlien poker in the US - Hopefully we will sign teh contract off in the next 7 - 10 days and will be able to go from there.
