Got the same from Ladbrokes but hadn't signed the contract - would have preferred a reminder I'd not signed it but there we go. Have emailed in so hopefully all will be sorted.

Where are these crooks located, UK, Gib?
They try this stunt on me (and I lived over that side of the world), I'd be grabbing a witness and marching down to their offices.

If no joy was gotten, I'd making a bee-line for fiver.co.uk, and be hiring me a few picket line carriers, to protect outside their UK bookie shops. (calling the local TV station too). I'd even go so far as to have fliers printed, and hand these out to punters out side these bookies.

Start hurting their business/income and public shame them, that's the only way these bastards will change!

    Added:
These new contracts, what's to say you sign them, then they enact the 72 hour termination clause. This sounds like what they're planning. Just making sure it legally bound. Though I'm not sure if forcing (errr blackmailing) affiliates to sign would be considered legally binding

I got the same message from ladbrokes partner ? what should i do ? I have e-mailed yarden but no reply?

    Dear Partner,

Your account has not registered a depositing player in the past 12 months and has therefore been classified as inactive.

The account will be closed permanently within 72 hours. Once the account is closed, no further payment will be made and you will be unable to access the account.

Your July commissions will be paid in full. Please note that as of August 2017, commissions will no longer be paid. Should you wish to continue with us, please contact your account manager within 72 hours.

    Kind Regards,

I got through to one of their affiliate managers (Zachi Duani zachi.duani@ladbrokescoral.com)this morning who told me that because I haven’t sent depositing player in 12months, the account will close. He also mentioned that they wanted to "reduce the number of inactive accounts in order to minimize exposure".

    When I explained that we
have revamped the site and that traffic is starting to flow, his response was “you can always open a new account mate”.

I'm guessing this has little to do with "limiting exposure" and everything to do with anot-so-subtle way of getting rid of any and all old deals. Job done, account closed and moving on.

If you received such an e-mail probably best not to spend too much energy getting upset and focus the energy on programs that are willing to work and develop a relationship. It may also be good to ensure your reviews of Gala Partners and casinos are up to date based on recent developments.

So, while I've not received an "account closed" email, it does appear as if my commission rate has been "adjusted" to something different than was agreed upon via our written and signed agreement with Gala Partners. This "could" be an error but it could also have been quite deliberate on their part. In either event, there was no communication on this and considering one cannot currently click anywhere to see the actual commission rate/deal you're on, it could easily have been changed. Income Access does have a feature where you can view your rates. Many programs disable this...

I still don't understand why affiliates still promote Ladbrokes/Gala/Coral.

They are not honest, invest your money on others

Interesting, having read this I checked my own Ladbrokes accounts and both show earnings of £0 this month. A clear breach of our agreement, and like yourself there had been no prior communication.

In case this is a system glitch I'll leave it a few days before contacting them. But it rather looks like they have petulantly decided to adjust the rate to 0% because I refused to sign their contract.

What they're almost certainly too stupid to realise is that this puts them in breach of the previous contract. So if they refuse to pay up, next stop is small claims. Should be fun!

We've been on a custom deal with them for about 4-5 years, which we provided them when they requested the corp info and any signed agreement we had. If I were to take a blind guess, I'd say they probably did not read the agreement and just "filed it away" and set the account on the default agreement they gave everyone else.

Seeing the same for Ladbrokes, Coral and Gala... although only Coral currently shows commission rate and that in the CMS is 0%.

Anyone heard back from any AMs regarding the issue?

It takes more effort to actually close one account after the other, as compared to sending an email to all affiliates informing them that there are some technical issues and that no one needs to worry.

It's called communication and caring for affiliates with true partnership.

They won't close accounts, why would they want to delete all that data?

They just set the commission to zero.

    Exclamation

Aha ... interesting - I also received these emails from Ladbrokes partners the other day (i.e. the one about sending in the company certificate and also about the 12 month inactivity clause) ... and 72 hours notice --- this is ridiculous!

I did send an email back saying I thought this was extremely unfair and what I got back was this ....

Unfortunately that our decision regard in active account that haven’t send any player in the last 12 months.
If you wish we can open a new account and set up the same revenue share deal you had in the old account but that is all we can do.
So -- basically they are happy for me to create a new account and lose my existing referred players and associated commission! As for "that is all we can do" --- that is 100% BS!!!!!

I WILL BE CERTAIN TO REMOVE THEM ASAP AND ADVISE PLAYERS THAT THIS IS THE WAY THEY ARE TREATING THOSE THAT REFERRED THEM AND SUGGESTING THEY PLAY ELSEWHERE.

It is simply not fair that these new affiliate managers come along, close my account and as far as I can tell THEY most likely pocket MY commission and all those from other accounts they close! And there was a reasonable amount coming every month or two from the many players I've referred over the past 14+ years!!

It is certainly something I'll be looking out for when deciding whether or not to work with other affiliate programs!

Woke up this morning to an inactive Gala account! Which is great especially as it was confirmed only two days ago that my account was active and all contracts has been signed! So glad this site does not convert well! But it is extremely frustrating when you spend your time sending emails to be confirmed all is ok! I don't think some affiliate managers know what they are doing these days!

They know very well what they are doing. They get mediocre salary and they do not give a **** and follow the orders. They will switch sides in few months anyways. Welcome to corporate-state overregulated capitalism, where all deals are just a joke. This is all ****** up.
