Question Gaze into a Crystal Ball - Will 2018 be better than 2017?

Calendar year 2018 is right around the corner, so if you have not yet thought about or set goals for the new year, now is a good time.

Share you plans for the upcoming year - what you are going to do new or differently to make the new year different than 2017?

And gaze into your crystal ball and hazard a guess as to how your revenue in 2018 will compare to your 2017 revenue. Will it be better? Will it be worse? By a lot or by a little? And be sure to share the reasons you think it will change for the better or for the worse.

This is a long-standing annual poll question, so if you are interested in seeing how folks viewed the future in past years, take a look at any of the following threads:

    Hi Michael,

I hope that 2018 will be a bigger and better year for the whole world.

I think that the iGaming industry will grow and will become better all around.

I'm also hoping that the global economy will improve as there has been some trouble in that area, unfortunately.

I have hope for next year that we will see some good and exciting changes ahead.

    Happy New Year 2018 everyone!

With some of the issues with affiliate programs lately, I thought 2017 might have been worse than I expected, but we actually grew a decent amount this past year. I'm projecting greater growth in 2018 even though I think the issues with some affiliate programs will continue to get worse. In 2017 we began to lay the groundwork for a number of significant new initiatives we will deploy in 2018 that I hope will bear significant fruit. We are completely revamping our ranking and games infrastructure, whereas last year we made no significant improvements to our affiliate sites, focusing instead on other areas of our business. Time will tell.

I really hope that you're right, Pokerface. I'm sure that we will all see very good improvements this year

I still cannot believe that it's already 2018...

I don't think that 2018 will be much brighter for this industry as more programs add affiliate unfriendly terms & conditions, close their doors, close affiliate accounts, turn rogue and it becomes harder and harder to rank and convert. Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but that's the way I see it heading.

Hopefully, this will not be the case for anyone.

I'm always optimistic about the new year, So i am looking forward to an increase in earnings.
I will be putting a lot of work into my website in order to increase traffic, and with more traffic, hopefully comes more revenue.

    For me? Yes.
For the online gambling affiliate industry in general? No.

I do not know because there are a lot of changes with the new laws.
I think there will be growth, but weaker than usual. We will have to renew ourselves.

"Gaze into a Crystal Ball - Will 2018 be better than 2017?"

    1. More programs will die and so the revenue share, because of new regulations. A consequence of the cancer inside this industry, that was downplayed and ignored for more than a decade.

    2. The whole and shocking truth about the real Russia conspiracy with the Clinton Crime Family will be investigated. The Midterm elections will be a disaster for the Democrats despite the possibility, that George Soros tries to initiate short before the elections a flood of unproven and fabricated sexual harassment accusations against Republicans with hookers and paid accusers. It will not work. The Democrats will not get the Senate back and all insane impeachment dreams are gone, once again.

Expecting much of the same personally, with it being a World Cup year I expect the betting interest in general will be slightly higher over the full year, however increasing pressure on the industry, risk of more programs shutting etc will probably just about balance it all out.
