    Getting traffic

What is the fastest way of getting visitors to my site? I've seen numerous listing for casino-targeted traffic and it runs between $12-30 per 10,000. I wonder though, do these convert okay? I've heard all about useless traffic but I can't think of any other fast traffic methods.

    Base,
If you are just starting out, don't do traffic buys. Just write good content and try to get links to your site. The traffic will come organically through the search engines.

When I started I had my site banned by doing stuff like that.

Anyway, build your site and get links.

Let me assure you, you will recieve no players. If anyone had gambling traffic that could convert they would never sell it, especially for such a low amount.

Doolally, that makes sense to me!

Base, it may not be the fastest process but you have to get listed in the search engines like WagerX said. Once my site got listed on the first page in Yahoo and Google my traffic jumped up substantially. I am not getting tons of traffic but the traffic is there. It probably took me about 3 months to get on the first page in most of the search engines and what did it was I chose a niche and SEO'd the crap out of my keywords.

I submitted my site to alot of free directories also but my stats show traffic coming from search engines.

It's hard work but if you keep it up you'll get traffic eventually.

That's why I rather start my site as blog so that I can easily collect traffic from socializing in blogging communities. It's also way better to promote a blog site than a very new site domain.

It certainly makes sense. I had been reading about PPC arbitrage so the idea came to mind.

One thing I'm looking into now is setting up blogs and forums in attempt to get a community going.

Glad my advice somewhat help you decide.
You can also try all of SEO techniques to gain traffic. You can also use online classifieds to flock traffics to your site. They're always free ones to rely on.

    Good luck!

Classifieds sound good way to drive traffic, but aren't casino ads removed pretty quick? Sometimes I feel like everything related to onlin casinos is considered spam.

PPC isn't totally dead. Just don't go near the obvious. There are affordable keywords still available.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

I still think PPC has a part to play, not specifically for making a profit but for boosting visitor numbers, the problem is unless you target popular keywords, the number of extra visitors is going to be pretty miniscule.
I wouldn't mind targeting hot key words but only if I could guarantee that I would break-even on the campaign.
