Marketing Report Reveals Future Growth for Online Bingo

  • The newest report on both the online and land-based bingo industry has recently been conducted by a marketing firm called Mintel, which states that the online bingo industry can expect some growth in the next few years.

  • It also states that 3.5 million people in the UK play bingo. Although it is generally thought that bingo only appeals to an older crowd, the Mintel report reveals that 700 000 of the 3.5 million players are between the ages of 18 and 24. In fact, over 60% of bingo players are under 45 years of age. Bingo is also becoming increasingly popular among white collar workers and young professionals, a fact which has led Mintel to conclude that this, in addition to the setbacks faced by the land-based industry, is the reason online bingo has experienced a surge.
