I've made a few bucks this month and am in need of some more knowledge...can never get enough ya know. What I've learned so far has been by way of forums along with trail and error, so I figure it's time to start pounding some books.

What I've done is bought me the SEO for Dummies book, that title describes me very well . Any books that anyone can recommend for someone to better their knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Becareful on the types of books you buy for SEO. By the time they are written, edited, printed, distributed, purchased, and read they could be out of date.

Here's a few websites I like to read every once in a while.

(1) seomoz.com (Randfish and his team are current on every white hat techinuque there is. Keep reading his blog posts. There's really no need to purchase his subscription. I especially like his "White board Fridays", where Randfish does a 10-15 minute lecture on SEO.

(2) http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ He's the "Google" guy. He works from Google and is the non-official liason between webmaster community and Google.

These two are the ones that come to mind the most.
