Google changed recently?

Since today, I can't seem to find lyrics of songs I am looking for. Usually when I don't know the signer I just type few of the words I've heard and you can see the singer, but not today.

It just feels like, Google have launched something new. It's not that Google Plus World crap, seems like some sort of a new algorithm.

I just did a few random searches using lyrics and it seemed to return results I expected....

Well I was searching for random words, I could hear and remember, and usually I get what I am looking for.

For example the song I am looking for sounded like Milli Vanilli, or something retro from the 80s it was something like "Hello babe how are you" and there was something about "bad romancing" but as I soon as I type this, all that it starts showing is lady gaga and he stupid song

I think Google did a minor update because I also noticed some changes to the results.

Google seems to update its results about once a month as of lately lol I guess this is a good thing?

This often happens when you try searching for phrases that are also parts of the top-of-the-chart songs or names (pseudonyms) of the famous peformers. Try googling something like 'let it be' or 'Madonna'. The moment I saw your 'bad romancing' I thought about Lady Gaga, although I'm not a fan of hers.
Perhaps in the past you simply tapped in less semantically loaded lyrics

and there was the SOPA issue with copyrighted materials few days ago... I know lyrics are not copyright protected to be available for free but i think there was some major hype about it because often people use lyrics for description of illegal mp3 downloads...

That's most likely the case but I tried using Google operators '-' basically 'bad romancing' -ladygaga, but it kept returning the same results. Nevertheless the user should not care if this is a high volume keyword or not, he should get what he is searching for I believe .

Google starts to disappoint me I am afraid, after what ... some 12 years of usage. I am a fan of simplicity and it's a lot more clogged than what it used to be in the beginning.

Wasn't about what is in it. It's what Google looks like. I liked the 2 buttons and the search field better, than those toolbars at the top, that pane at the left etc
