GPWA at CAP Euro in Barcelona

Or a crazy party break. Just got back to my room (It's 3:20am here), and I'm back early compared to others who were going to party elsewhere after we shut one establishment down for the night. Wednesday is GPWA Times e-mail newsletter day, and so I need to put together the announcements that will be included in tomorrow's newsletter (well, actually today's newsletter given the time).

This type of partying is hard work. But someone has to do it even if I did whimp out on the early side.

One thing I can tell you. There was a ton of broken glasses on the ground. A sure sign of a lot of people having just a little too much of a good time.

3.20am is pretty hardcore and not wimping out at all

I had to take one night off from the "festivities" but apart from that it is party central in Barcelona. It's 9.55am and I am looking out at blue skies. Yesterday was torrential rain, today looks nothing short of magnificent

OMG! What a blast that was.

Back in work today but I am sure I need a week to recover.

Had a great conference meeting new and current affiliates and hopefully doing a little more business with them all.

3 hours kip on the Saturday night certainly did not help with the hangover nor getting to the airport at 9am on the Sunday!!!!

Great to meet everyone I met and I look forward to developing relationships further in the future.

CAP + Barcelona = Milk & Aspirin = Great Time all the same.

My first event and finally I have recovered. I thought my student days had finished a long long time ago and I had forgotten how painful mornings can be. But the old adage "There are no strangers here - just friends you haven't met yet" was proved to be absolutely correct.

It was great to meet with Michael and NK in person and getting to meet the real people behind all the usernames was worth the trip alone. We met with lots of affiliate program managers and affiliates and we plan to keep in touch with them all.
Meanwhile, back to reality...

Sounds like was an excellent trip and some quality partying going on. It is pretty cool that we can have a good time in real life with other members as well as here on the forums!
