When I read that book it was an epiphany for me. I'd spent years not really getting my strategy sorted out and through these simple rules I ended up making sense of some very complex stuff.

For example with my own white label casino Oshi, the mistake I made was going in to quick with something that just wasn't well formed. It took 2 1/2 years of grind and learning to get that brand working smoothly and generating good money. Had I run a test brand before, made some mistakes and so on and then applied my learnings to Oshi, it would have had a much better start.

Same principle with launching an affiliate site. I've seen this with one particular company, they spent a huge amount of money on a flagship domain. They didn't pay enough attention to the micro-detail, the launch was a dud and the whole thing just never took off.

They would have been much better testing their whole system, sorting the content and getting it right with some disposable domain, then if that worked roll everything across to the flagship domain and then do a huge push.

    Strategies...

Number 11 is a great point, the law of perspective. So true that a long-term plan will benefit you greater than going for short wins. Great article as well!
