Default Heads up for one of yours - lots of hacked sites in the search results

I'm seeing a bunch of hacked pages coming up for bingo/casino/slots terms in the top 40, sometimes multiple for one term.

    Example 'play casino games'

This page is in the 40s (I've seen it higher for other terms)....

    ramondelacruz41.com /play-casino-games-online-united-states/

So ramondelacruz41.com is a hotel site...so someone has hacked it and added their own casino page by the look of it

I've seen a number of other sites the same.

So if whoever is doing it for non gaming related sites is getting away with it undetected - and getting ranked! - it's not a far stretch to assume they could do it on a 'proper' well ranked gambling site

If they are really hacking the sites, the affiliate programs can track the affiliate ID from the links and ban those accounts. This way will discourage them to hack more sites and the affiliate programs can keep the money

...and worse perhaps, it makes me wonder how G is ranking highly a page of a hotel/student/art college/etc website about casino games when clearly the content of that page has no association with what the expected content of the site should be.

Appears to be just another example of how if you know how to cheat the 'system', you can do it.

I've only noticed one single hacked website in the top 50 results for the keywords I track most closely. The hacked site/result is on page 4.

Yep that sounds like the same thing.

I tried mailing the first few I saw to give them a heads up, but no responses. They probably thought my mails were scammer mails. if you're not talking direct to an actual webmaster they probably don't get it.

This is different to some others I've seen (though have also seen this one in English searches too).

The one I've seen more often is targeting the RevenueJet casinos only. Can't see the affiliate code on a click through. Seems to be done by some sort of injected frame (I don't know technically how or if this is a valid way to describe it). But the site for that one doesn't actually have anything on it...the domain is registered with some sort of 'we keep your domain name secret' company.

For the one posted above, looks like it maybe comes from verifiedcasinos (dot) com...which does actually resolve to a real site. Has a mixture of affiliate properties on it.

Unless it's the same perpetrators trying different ways, then it would appear there are at least two who are getting away with it.

There are so many blackhat and garbage pages in the serps. It will only be a matter of time before the big G removes them.

Thing is this is very old method of hacking the SERPs I can link to articles back from 2006-2007, and yet they still work so I have serous doubts Google know how to handle it automatically, rather than manual penalty for each which takes considerable amount of time.

Not so confident affiliate programs would be willing to ban an account that is ranking high and sending in lots of traffic.

Yep both those are plastered with casinos from one specific affiliate operator, same as some of the others. RevenueJet, heads up.

This is something where the affiliate programs should step in. I am really out of time today, but I catched the used affiliate links of anyone wants to contact the aff managers:
    https://de.europalace.com/btag-P36828-PR137-CM13492-TS46667/
http://www.cosmicasinomarketing.com/affs/sliders/5313/2223/?btag=a_2221b_1370c_ (not the link but should be enough to identify)

    888 made them a landing page (WTF) - http://de.888casino.com/exclusive-mob/verified.htm

cityclub: not sure about the link
William hill also but they should be able to find IF they want. I am usually following which company is useless when fighting these guys and I more or less stop promoting them.

As long as they bring them money and not entering their brand searches I doubt they will care much to be honest.
