    Hosting Suggestions

This is my first post here, so a big hi to everyone!

I'm working on my first casino affiliate site and I'm after opinions on hosting, taking into account:

    - Wanting shell/telnet access
    - Ability to host multiple domains on one account
    - Gambling affiliate "friendly"

Shared hosting is fine. I have a Hostgator account which I use for some other sites so perhaps that will do?

My only concern with using Hostgator is the fact that they're US based, should that be a problem?

    All feedback is much appreciated!

US hosted should not be an issue, just read the terms and conditions for gambling affiliates and be ready to move on a moments notice. Using alot of bandwidth will raise flags. I host my own site in Canada and the US so switching is easy.

Thanks for the heads up, the T&C's seem ok so I'll stick with them for now with a backup plan like you mention in place in case it ever becomes a problem.
