Hot Pepper Affiliates have recently enacted a predatory clause on their Commissions page. This clause requires that you have 10 new active players in order to be paid
Additionally, we began tracking this specific page after an affiliate told us of some lies Timothy Lee (Affiliate Manager) told them. He basically stated that they needed at least $200 minimum to receive commissions payment (Terms State $100). And went on to say that at least 5 Minimum Players needed to be acquired per month to receive payment (there previously was no such term - we know because we track this... AND we worked with the previous affiliate managers to ensure that was not part of their terms).
Here are the full details of the change:
Hot Pepper Affiliates Marked Predatory
Be Aware that their T&C's state: 'A minimum of $100 in affiliate earnings is required for an affiliate payment to be made, unless otherwise negotiated before joining Hot Pepper Affiliates. Negative balances to do not carryovers from one month the next.'
This is your contract and you should hold Timothy up to this legal document - not the lies he is telling.
