How did the third quarter of 2009 compare with the second quarter for you?

We completed the third calendar quarter of 2009 a month ago, so it is well past time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the third quarter of 2009 (July to September) to revenue from the second quarter of 2009 (April to June), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And posts about your thoughts for the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds are welcome. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

On the affiliate revenue front Casino City normally has summer doldrums, and consistent with past history our Q3 revenue dropped a little over 15% from our Q2 affiliate revenue. On that basis I selected a decrease of 11% to 20%.

We are a moderately diversified business, however, so overall the seasonal revenue declines we saw in the affiliate portion of our business were more than counterbalanced by increased revenue in other portions of our business for Q3 versus Q2.

Even with a poopy July and mediocre August, September rocked and pushed me way over the prior quarter. October was weak, hopefully the longer nights and colder days will add to the bottom line in the next few months.

My 3rd quarter was down slightly compared to 2nd due to a big player in the 2nd quarter.

We were up approximately 15%. The gains are attributable to a greater focus on link building and UI changes focused on better click through rates.

Year on year, not a lot of change trhough to September. From the previous quarter, down a litte, just over 20%.

    October tanked for us though!

We seen increase in Income and New player numbers of nearly 50% from September - October 2009.I pulled the numbers for October 2008 and we have seen a 250% increase in Revenue Share income mainly because we have been removing junk casinos(non performing for us maybe excellent for others) from our sites and redirecting to Solid groups like Fortune Affiliates,CWCAFFILIATES,Mainstreet,400affiliates ,Casino Coins ,Pantasia.
