Question How did the third quarter of 2013 compare with the second quarter of 2013 for you?

The third quarter of 2013 just ended, so it is now time to ask our periodic question to members about how the revenue they are earning has changed over the last quarter.

If you compare revenue from the third quarter of 2013 (July to September) to revenue from the second quarter of 2013 (April to June), how did it change? Did it get better, stay the same, or get worse for you?

And post your thoughts about the changes you have seen and your view of what the future holds. How much do you think the changes you saw between the two quarters is due to general economic conditions, how much is related to changes in the online gaming affiliate marketplace, how much is related to seasonal fluctuations, and how much is related to changes in what you are doing?

Today at least 62 migrants killed as boat sinks near Lampedusa.

Maybe the question "How can we, who are making good money with entertainment and gambling, help people like that?" is better, rather than think every 3 months about whether we have 1, 2 or 3 percent earned more.

My income shrank somewhat. There was hardly any high roller activity, and google wasn't very kind to some of my sites. Moving forward, I will focus more on social media marketing, and take a closer look at other search engines and sources of traffic.

For Casino City, affiliate revenue grew by 3.5% in the third quarter versus the second quarter of 2013.

By historical standards that is actually a very good result for us since historically the third quarter is usually our worse quarter.

I click my revenue grew between 10-20%. I am not sure if it because of football season, the SEO i have been doing for the past 6-9 months, change of algos, better and more content? I cannot put my finger on what is causing more visitors and players.

    I had a 20% drop in Q3 relative to Q2.

Good news is that Q4 is already looking to be my best of the year.

Keep in mind that revenue is 1 month behind the month in which it was actually earned, due to payment processing time and so on. I've been in this business long enough to know that earning a commission is significantly different than getting paid a commission, so I do not count commissions as actual revenue until I deposit the commission check and it clears the bank.

Very valuable advice, and something I've learnt on a personal level on multiple occasions.
It isn't money until it's in my hand (or bank account!)

Our revenue was relatively close to the same for the 3rd quarter of 2013.
