How do I cloak with a redirect?

Hi and thank you for coming in,

can someone give me an example of what I do to satisfy this?

Links within the article MUST be cloaked by a redirect..
I had target=_blank ... so they must mean something else. How do I cloak with a redirect?

    thanks again

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

There are a couple of threads here that talk about this....

    I personally like using fastclick.

If you search a bit you will find the threads where a few explanations are given on how to do this.

If you're hosted on Apache web server you can cloack your links by doing a 301 redirect in your htaccess

    Hi Guys,

my research on the 301 shows it sending traffic from one page to another ... but I don't really want the traffic to go to another page.

    It doesn't make sense.

I looked at fastclick and it was too confusing. I couldn't even figure out the website.

I also looked at the place the article submission site recommended and it said "most the categories are ad free" ... which means gambling won't be (more than likely).

The whole thing seems rediculous to me. my link is shorter than the code they'd use. Seems like to me its just a scam to get you to use their redirect company where "most categories are ad free".

The link is on the other side of the page. Who gives a crap how long it is?

I really hate the BS crap these rocket scientists come up with for reasons that are in many cases unnecessary extra steps.

I could maybe understand if you were worried about hiding an aff code but this is over the top.

Setting up fastclick takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the cpanel being used...

Once it is set up, it is extremly simple to use.

It just requires Mysql and php.

I could help you set it up on a site so you could test it and see how you like it.

I wrote a thread explaining this yesterday and it got erased. Here it goes again.

Firstly, I think that the simplest way is to set up a redirect page for each affiliate link. So your banners are linked to that page that then redirects to where you want to go. The code of each redirect page will depend on if your using a Windows or Linus hosting. (I use PHP, 302 redirect). One very important thing to remember is to make sure that you have a rel=
nofollow" attribute to the link of your internal redirect page. That way Google know not to follow it.

The end result is a link from text or a banner that links to an internal page, that is really your redirect page. IMHO, I think that users will most likely click on these links.

If you need my help, please PM me. I can send you some examples, and talk you through one.

    Cheers!
