How do you know if traffic is actualy captured by the affiliate company correctly?

Hi guys.

Iv been sending some traffic to a certain Affiliation company now for a few weeks and I logged into my Account and headed for the stats page... so the page loads up and i choose show all stats....!

Well the page loads and i shows that there have been NO click thoughts and now downloads every thing is on 0 etc.. This is very odd as i personally downloaded the software to test out at home, and I clicked through once to make sure the links all worked! But yet this dose not show up on the Affiliates states!

Any ideas as to how this has happened and could i be being scammed??

Hi there,

Get in contact with your affiliate manager. When an affiliate sign up with us we always want to make sure the tracking works with a test. They should be working all of the time but there could be a few things that messes it up.

So if your test one wasnt working it might be because you had been on another affiliate site before and their cookie was left or a badly imported link etc.

But if you contact your affiliate manager he should be able to help....

I know that is the case with us (promo GNUF)

That's a great question, and one that I had when I had when I first started.
Let me tell you what happened to me when I first started promoting a casino program about a year ago. I was sending 10-30 nuique visitors a day to one program and not getting any conversions at all.. After 6 months I decided to change to another program and I immediately started getting depositors. So it could have been the first program was not registering the depositors OR their casino was not attractive enough to deposit or sign up.

So, in your case email your afiliate manager and let them know. It may be that your stats are only updated once a day. If you can't confirm your stats with your affiliate manager then you might want to consider trying another program.

Hi Balir,

Definitely, as HenrikGr said, contact your affiliate manager and you should be able to rectify the problem.

Perhaps a typo in one of the links you used. There are so many little possibilities that you would have to discuss with your affiliate manager.
