Question How frequently do you add new pages to your sites?

As the saying goes, content is king. Well, at least good content is king. I think most affiliates engage in some combination of updating pages to keep them current and relevant and adding new pages with new content. For this week's poll I ask about the rate at which you add new pages to your sites. So, if you have three sites, consider how much content you add across all three sites when voting in the poll.

Besides voting in the poll, be sure to share what types of new pages you add today, and how the types of pages you add and the frequency with which you add them has has changed over time.

I took a look at a few categories of new content Casino City publishes. In 2018 so far we have published an average of 92 new news articles each week, 18 new gaming site reviews each week, and 31 new slot game reviews each week. That works out to 141 new pages a week, or 20 new pages a day for those three content types. And I'd guess we also spend every bit as much time updating and revising existing content as we do creating new content, although that varies depending on the type of content. Some types of content, such as news and strategy articles, is generally static once published. But other content, such as bonus offers, the games offered by a gaming site, payment methods, and places from which players are accepted undergo regular review and updates. Most of what we do in terms of adding new content has been fairly stable over the past few years. But we have recently changed our focus to add new types of information that will be used in both new site features and new content areas in the coming months.

That sounds like pretty sick volume to me.
Curious how much staff it takes to produce on that level?

Try to add at least 2-5 pages week, mostly news articles and if any new casinos have launched.

The constant bonus offers and other compliance takes up most of the day (and night) at the moment.

TBH I don't do a lot these days. If I feel additional content would be beneficial, then I'll add a new page.

I certainly don't post blog entries like I used to. At one stage I'd throw up 2 or 3 blogs a day. But that's before scrapers attacked RSS feeds. Now, I don't even bother with an RSS feed, I've disabled RSS in the WP theme code (functions.php).

Apart from normal content like reviews or games information, which I produce something everyday, I like to research and create unique content others don't, which obviously takes a bit more time. A typical example is a visit to a Live Casino Studio. https://www.livecasinocomparer.com/i...-studio-visit/

I try to add at least one post or page every few days to give the regular visitors something new to read, and to keep google happy with new content.

I try to add a page a week but am constantly working on all my websites. Adding pages just to add pages has never been my philosophy, but I think it is important to add some new content on a regular basis. I do update pages on a daily basis on at least some of my websites.

Sometimes I add new pages, sometimes entirely new sections. But most 'new content' I publish is an update to an existing page, keeping it up-to-date. For example, 'this month's news promo's' doesn't need a new page every month - just needs keeping up-to-date.

I definitely spend more time updating content than creating new content. I'd imagine a decent sized team would be needed in order to crank out multiple pieces of new material per day/week.

Well, our editorial team has three full-time members, but they do more than write and post articles. For example, the publish the GPWA Times Magazine, and also do work on various other industry publications we product.

We also have a content team for information related to online gaming sites that has five full-time members. Those folks take care of adding information about new online slot games and new online gaming sites that is directly related to the pages added in those areas. But they also do lots of other work, like reviewing and updating previously published information. And adding maintaining other types of information, like our database of 13,000 portal sites, that does not contribute to the size of our public-facing sites noted above.

I can't even get our writers to write one quality page a day, much less 3+ per person!

Sheesh... you need to keep up with the times.

Set them a quota, and if they don't meet it, they don't get paid

Investing in quality content is the cheapest way to increase your traffic. You can find cheap writers doing great job. If you're interested, send me a PM.

It's really depends on the site type, if it's pure guide or news or blog..
