Question How long ago did you open the oldest email account you still use today?

If you are like me, you keep at least one email account around essentially forever. I registered the domain name corfman.com back in 1996, and I have had a personal email account under that domain since that time, just about 22 years ago now. My oldest email account was a private company internal email account setup more than 35 years ago, I think before the current internet-based email system even existed.

For this week's poll, besides sharing the age of your oldest current working email account, please feel free to share some of your email history. Is it a personal or a business email account? Did you have older accounts you no longer use?

There was a similar poll around eight years ago, if you are interested in what folks had to say back then. You can see it here:

How old is your oldest email account?

I've closed that thread now, since this new thread is intended to replace it with current answers to the question. A special thanks to Rick (Universal4) for suggesting it was time to ask this question again.

Like Michael, I too have a few email accounts around the 21 or 22 year age, and a few of my oldest domains are getting close to that age as well.

I would actually have a few emails older then that if it had not been that the domains were purchased or absorbed years later.

I have done my research, I sent my first email 12 years ago from Hotmail, not a lot of time but in that time, email was like crazy stuff where I live.

Good times I remembered thanks for the question, it make me look back into some history I actually forgot but emails from the time are there.
