How long is the longest you have ever stayed awake in one stretch?

I think its been like 40ish hours maybe a bit less! Pulling an all nighter about 8 years ago! After partying got home like at 6am and had to go to work at 7 so I took a shower and went to work, completed the shift and went straight to bed after that!

Whoever did the 5 days are more.. you people are crazy... I think my best was about 2 days. First night in London this year I did about 36 and wasn't even that tired at the end (red bull is a good trick).

Over the years, my lack of sleep has become well-known in this industry. More often than not, I'll do a couple 36 hour stretches each week. I developed this habit mostly because I'm in the worst geographic location for this business, so I try to keep hours which are more consistent with European business hours. Unfortunately, it's messed with getting 'normal' sleep.

During this last trip to London, I may have pushed things a bit too far. I can still hear Caselli pounding his fists on the table, screaming at me to wake up, as I was holding up the poker game. Of course, I was just 'resting my eyes!'

24 to 35 hours 1 or 2 times a week

I've stayed awake a few dozen times for stretches around 48 hours, give or take. In college, I'd often have to be at my part time job at 6. Sometimes I just wouldn't sleep the night before...I just used to like to stay awake at the time. I'd still rather be awake than spend my time sleeping, but now that I get up at 6 to work out 4-5 days out of the week, I find myself needing to go to bed every night.

39-41 hour was the longest. took a while to come to normal after that

I can go without food or water, but sleep is very important for me. I don’t remember ever going without sleep for over 24 hours.

I'm the type who needs my sleep Don't think I've every been up for more than 24 hours and if so it certainly wasn't work related!
