    LMAO at #1 and agree with poster above. Having 20 open is the equivalent of none as you sit there in a stupor....

    Hmmm, guess I never really thought about it until now. Just got Windows 7 but that hasn't really changed my habits per se, although I do have 2 widgets (a desktop calendar app and weather) running now that I didn't before. The browser with several tabs for checking various email accounts always remains open, but other than that I always close everything right after I'm done using it. Sometimes I have to re-open things multiple times because I have the habit of closing things immediately and having to go back to it. But...I think I run my life like that...everything has to be organized and neat, including my computer desktop. I think it's OCD.

    Hahaa Interesting thread. At present, i've got 9 open. But then again, it's Saturday today. Normal work routine i'd have about 20 or more. Including chats from skype and pidgin and oh not including all the tabs i've got on firefox and chrome. Too many. I might have to follow Robin and have a couple more so i wont have everything squeezed in one.
