Question How many pages on your sites do you devote to game content?

Webmasters use content of all sorts to produce sites that will attract and be interesting to players.

The types of content areas webmasters focus on is varied, and frequently sites focus on multiple content areas. Background information on gaming sites and site reviews are common, as are bonus listings, game-focused information, strategy, news, and probably a thousand other niches.

For today's poll I'd like to ask how many pages on your sites are focused on providing information specifically about games.

And I invite you to post in this thread what you view as the important content areas of your site, and how the information you provide about games on your site compares with the other type of information you provide.

Speaking for Casino City, historically we have had hardly any game-specific information. Well, I guess we've have a lot of strategy articles, but not much at all about areas like online slot games. For a while I've felt Casino City was missing the boat a bit by not having detailed information about slot games similiar to the information we have about casinos, so we've been working behind the scenes to change that. Our goal being to have online.casinocity.com be a comprehensive directory of both places to play online (which it has been) and games to play online (which it has not been).

Finally, in the last week, our efforts have begun to be exponsed on the site. Although we have not published it publicly yet through links on the site, we have the beginnings of a comprehensive slots directory available at Online Casino City Slots. Right now this new, not yet published for players, section of the site has between 500 and 1,000 pages. So, I've made that selection above in this week's poll.

We're hoping the combination of showing players both games they can play and where they can play, as opposed to just showing them where they can play, will make a big difference. Eventually we're expecting the games directory on online casino city to be as important as the gaming site directory.

I've been slowly working on getting my GamblingSmarts.com domain to be a database of games and which casinos offer them. It is a hard task and like hitting a moving target.... And I started this just before many players left the US market - so I can't even access many of the casinos firsthand anymore.

But, I do have several hundred slot games and many of the major table games cataloged...

And... I still consider myself primarily a sports guy... so the term 'game' has a whole different meaning there... My bloggers are constantly putting out game predictions and such, so I technically could add several hundred posts more.

I have added a slots review section on my casino portal, started with RTG and Rival, the page count is growing and I add a few pages when I have all my other tasks complete. I guess it is a step child to blogs, reviews, updating content. I am sort of spurty in them. Will do 4 or 5 in a day then none for weeks.

We're currently in the process of ramping up our game content on Onlinecasinoreviewer.com - Concentrating on providing more and more slots reviews, which in turn complement the reviews of the casinos we feature.

It's our aim to have over 100 of the most popular slots covered.

    Hello Michael,

Many affiliates are writing game reviews lately. Some of them give their personal point of view as another way to recommend a casino to a potential player.
Online casino customers already know their favourite games and do search for specific games.

Sloto'Cash is now providing game screenshots for all their slots games, table games and more. Also providing game logos and game detail information such as the expected return percentage, maximum bonus round win and more.

    Cheers,

I add game reviews when I have the time - normally after everything else is cleared up. It would be interesting to see how these numbers of pages reflect the percentage of total pages within the sites in question.

I've done some Rivals and some RTGs. Just finishing up 300 Micro games. I had to hire someone to help me there. It's a huge task because for me, the little guy, it's manual.

we did game reviews which has taken us nearly a year to complete. so far we're over 800 pages of games and growing but like Mojo we needed to outsource alot of this in order to get it done.

lol Im not sure what I dislike more. Creating pages for slot reviews...or capturing and resizing screenshots of slot machines LOL
