How many searches a month?

I currently rank number 5 on google for the term " cash for free "

I've looked at google insights & adwords for estimates for the amount of traffic that should search for those exact terms?

Can anyone find this out for me?

Yeah I forgot to specify the Local version of google. 58 searches a month isn't exactly the amount of traffic I had in mind! >.<

However getting to no.1 in the UK is key for the "word of mouth effect" so there is some consolation.

Time to open up the site to more Serps!

When choosing the URL I didnt use the exact match. So the figures were grossly inflated.

it all depends on what you want to achieve, what your target market is etc

if you are selling a product for £1000 and there are only 100 searches with the average conversion rate of 2% then 2 sales = £2000

It's a Poker based Aff site, with the exact search term being the URL. It generates 320 local searches a month, for the exact term. I'm thinking about buying the domain name, but I'm unsure if the generic searches will bring enough hits. Being new to this I'm not entirely sure!
