How many visitors do you send to online gaming sites to get a depositing player?
One of the primary goals of an online gaming portal site is for the players they send to an online gaming site to make a deposit so they can play for real-money. No deposit, no earnings. It's as simple as that.
But the path from sending a visitor to a website to having a customer deposit is no sure thing. A visitor might just be looking around, and have no interest in actually opening an account. Or a visitor might be interested, but that interest might not translate into making an actual deposit.
This week I thought I'd ask what sort of conversion rate members see. How many players, on average, do you have to send to online gaming sites in order to have one of those players open an account and make a deposit?
For me it depends on the site, the promotions, the reputation ( I am leaning down on only the best sites now) I feel 26-50 is a good avg for me some I get conversions at a 10 to 1 rate if it is a newer site, keep in mond I am mostly poker. Casino converys much better for me so I have been working at expanding this market. One thing I have learned and now working on is the better the content the better the conversion rate. Thus i am also working on fine tuning the content. Time will tell.

Almost an unanswerable question.
You can of course get clicks to signup ratios, and clicks per depositor by site, but each site seems to have it's own demographic making an "average" almost mythical.
I would agree with gooner. I have one site which I dont know whenthey signed up or when they made a deposit It just shows up as PMP and RMP. So I can only guess
I have one room where I can send them 25+ players before I ever see 1RMP and thats if I am lucky while another room averages 1 in 4 . I think now a days it depends on what they have to offer including how easy or difficult it is for them to fund their accounts.
Very hard to give an average. I find it's relatively easy to attract the one-time deposiors who are looking to take advantage of bonus offers. But getting the repeat depositors you need to build a business is a completely different matter.
I'd say 1 in 20 for the one-offs.
I sent more than 1000 clicks to Cpays and there were no depositing players, I sent more than 500 clicks to Vegas Partner, there were about 200 downloads and there were no depositng players.
Now I'm working with another programs very closely, and sometimes it's enough 2-10 clicks to receive a depositing player, so I think the average is up to 100 clicks to receive a player.
The difference in conversions between each website and each property I promote varies hugely, but it works out at exactly 96 visitors sent for each depositor over the last 3 months accross all properties and all sites.
And like the other poll, don't forget the language/market because the ratios can be very diferent in diferents languages. In spanish I need 150-200 hits to the casino site for get a real deposit player and I have 80-85% traffic from Google (in the local version I target [.es]).
