How much do you pay for tipping content?

I have acquired a great domain for a tipping site.

I want to pay a writer, or writers, to produce regular previews and sports news.

What sort of money should I be looking at?

You could go down 2 routes John...

1 would be finding a writer who actively speaks English as a first language, therefore providing a high quality of content, although you are probably looking at the £20-30+ mark for each article.

2nd option, you could probably find someone based in India or nearby to write the content for $5 per article. There are decent writers around in these areas, you will just need to sift through a lot of rubbish before finding one! PM me if you need a forum to find someone in this range.

My opinion... you get what you pay for. I will always go native English or write it myself, only after learning the hard way though!

Depends how good you want your content

If it's Premier League-related pm me and I may be able to do a weekly article for free

You defiantly do not want to be tight and go for the $5 ones, you can not expect too much for that and it will usually be poor spelling and grammar for a website.

But, man, £30+ an article? I would want the person to come to my house and read it out personally for that much.

Whats the site mate? I can pass along some great content writers that I have met here at GPWA. Also let me know how much you are looking for as I have a guy on your side of the pond.

    Ya, I agree...
This would all depend on what kind of quality of content you are seeking...
You could also look at hiring an ad agency as well... They may be able to provide you with monthly pricing rather than a per article price??

but this is your content and you get what you pay for. It is tough to find the balance of quality and price but it might take more time to find the perfect match

You can find loads of writers online. To whatever budget that you've got. Here's a couple of websites that i can think of where you can hire them:
    http://www.elance.com/
    http://www.freelancer.com/
    http://www.odesk.com/
