Question How much sports betting sited can earn?

Hello, if somebody has sports betting websites with affiliate programs, can you say how much that website can earn on 1000 organic traffic?

I can not find any info about it. For example, if I will have website with 100 000 visitors/mo how much I can earn on it?

Depends on the value of your organic traffic. Totally different value if you are ranking for best betting sites terms or free. Bets, no deposit bonuses and etc.

thesamurai, thank you for your answer

Can you say from $$$ to $$$ (for 1000 uniques or 100 000 traffic/mo) for 2 kinds of traffic?
    - betting predictions
    - bookmakers reviews

Great example. From betting tips traffic you will have very low conversion rate Reg to FTD in other hand bookmakers reviews are much, much better of course and more competitive than betting predictions terms. If you need numbers let's say - 1k organic traffic from betting tips - could be something like 2-3 up to 5 FTDs, but from bookies reviews could be 10+ to... 20 or more because if someone looking for betfair review there is very big probability of those visitor to sign up using your links. Guys which are amateur bettors or professional anyway already have accounts in almost all bookies and they just surfing around betting tips sites just to see what are people thinking for those event. Hopes this makes sense to you.

Almost every sport fan read about his team and from time to time bet
and review site give the user review on bookies and it will probably lead to registration

It is good to put a lot of inromation in your site, in order to get differnt variation of players. Bookies reviews is the most convertible section. If you provide tips, this is too common and most of the site do it as a paid service, what success they have - we all know.
First of all you need to have a strategy you have in you mind. If you get 100 000 visitors per month from social, backlinks or just someone came to chek up you website it cannot be compared to organic traffic.
Our business is very interesting because not in any means 100 000 visitors, will mean that you will be rich just like that.
You get to the "cream " of the cake after years of hard work ))

This is such an open ended question. Are you looking at a CPA or Rev Share based system? Of course with CPA you can calculate returns fairly accurately based on a traffic to conversion ratio but with rev share your returns will potentially be over years. The amount you earn will depend on the value of your keywords, value of your accounts send and how good the brand is at retaining them.

drifter8, yes, I meaning that, for example, a have 100 000 monthly traffic from match predictions. I don't know how much these sites can earn on 1000 organic traffic.

A sports betting website that contains zero affiliate advertising, (affiliate coded links sending traffic to operators containing your affiliate code so YOU get credit) will not make you any money.

As for the amount any specific site can make, test test test, but you have to have some advertising of some sort before you will know how effective your traffic will convert,

A site makes almost nothing with 1000 visitors unless the visitors decide to open a betting account via the sites links.

For match previews this does not happen very often. So for 1000 visitors the site will be likely to receive nothing.

For bookmaker reviews it happens more often but it's harder to get this traffic (there is less of it and it is very competitive). If you get 1000 organic traffic for people searching to find a new bookmaker, then you MIGHT get 5,10 or 20 new accounts. If they actually deposit and bet then you might make something.

    I'll agree with this.

If one can get 2-3% of their overall readers to create accounts, and 35%+ of those to convert to depositors, then you're doing decently well.

Much easier said than done though.

I'd look at specific sporting events as well. They may only be around for a few days, but can convert really well. For example if someone is going to a major horse racing festival they might search for ""major horse racing festival" offers"". They can be easier to rank for, especially some of the smaller events. Create a list of these events and create, create, create content. it's hard work, but the whole affiliate marketing industry is hard work.

If you are focussing on tips and predictions, you want to make sure that you are capturing leads sp that you you can engage with these customers on a regular basis. If a new bookmaker springs up you can always do an email campaign to let your subscribers know about it (providing you have approval from the program). Creat value for your visitors and the leads will come.
