I submit some of my internal pages to about 5 or 6 social bookmarking sites once a week or so. I not only submit my gambling related urls, but alos non-gambling related urls (not my competition) just so my accounts look natural. So, for each site, I'll submit 1-2 urls per week on average.

Article distribution: That's a tough one because unique content costs time and money, so where I spend my unique content matters. What I usually do is submit my unique article to ezinearticles.com.. After a few weeks I check to see how that article was distributed through their system. If it wasn't picked up, then I'll go ahead and submit the same content to isnare.com. I've actually have a few pages in ezinearticles.com with PR with great links to my site.

So, with articles.. I submit about 5 per week to ezinearticles.com and 2-3 per week to isnare (nominal value).

If someone else has a better strategy please share.

This makes complete sense and I would say is about standard. Its especially sensible to protect unique content and place it where it matters - make an impact and not spamming.

ezinearticles seems much better at being picked up by higher ranking sites, whilst isnare tends to give a broader distribution.

Both are useful, but it's interesting to see how the same article is picked up differently by users of those two sites.

If you write an article about 'article writing' it never gets picked up on ezinearticles as their index is swamped by their own article writing tips.

But one of my casino articles shows up first for the search 'online casinos', is the 4th most published in the casino-gambling category and is getting me tons of backlinks. The same article on isnare has had about 50 views!

As for submissions, I think the more the better. If I had time, I'd spend all day writing.
