How often you check your affiliate stats?

Hey all,

Just wanna know how often do you check your statistics in your affiliate program. Do you do it:

a) A couple of times a day
b) Once a day
c) Once every 2 days
d) 2 times a week
e) Once a week
d) Once a month



Personaly I´m between a) and b), sometimes when I see a lot of activity I check it more than once a day, other times in average I check it once a day.
And you?

I check mine about 3 times a day, but that is only possible because I use Stats Remote which checks them all at the same time.
I still believe that is the best program I have ever subscribed to.
Has its glitches every now and then, but overall it saves me a good few hours work

I check my stats twice a day, depending on the amount of casino and game promotions we have on offer. If we land new players way too much too my liking.

How safe is AVOway and Stats remote considering the fact that we have to enter the login info (UN and password) of the programs? I know i am being paranoid but it is a legit question, no?

In order for them to obtain and extract the stats, the login info is required but the someone could logon directly to the program using our details, editing our info (email, name etc) and preferred payment method

I hadn't heard of these programs before but would save a lot of hassle of going through and checking each site one by one. I get worried about that as well with the login getting hacked into as well with a lot of online stuff, I guess if something did happen it would be spotted within the first month if we are checking regularly, but would lead to a lot of headaches I'm sure..

Do you guys know if there any other sites like AVOway and Statsremote, or are they the two main ones that offer this service?

The frequency with which I check stats is a function of the traffic volume and player activity in the program. I check 12 programs daily, another 30 or so monthly, and another 30 or so quarterly.

I tried StatsRemote a while back, and it wasn't valuable to me. I check stats manually and record them manually in an OpenOffice spreadsheet.

Tip: Create a bookmark folder in Chrome with links to your frequently-checked affiliate programs. You can then right click on the folder name and choose Open All Bookmarks from the menu. If you allow usernames and passwords to be saved, you can check stats pretty quickly. Using this method, it takes me about 1 minute per program to check and record my stats.

Two spinoff questions:

1) How valuable are tools that allow you to get stats without logging in?
We offer tools like XML, API or email stats with our software but it seems like VERY FEW affiliates use them.

2) If stats were not updated for one of your programs, how quickly would you become concerned and write to your aff manager?
