Default Hurry, hurry, hurry, but no reply and no details

The 24th we received a mail from Quasar and it seemed to be urgent. Why they would send it otherwise a few moments before Christmas eve and Christmas day? Also we were asked to take action immediately.

A mail asking about more details and about what we must do then, isn't replied yet by Quasar Gaming. I hope Quasar can clarify here a bit what they expect from us.

    Dear Affiliate

First of all we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones all the best for this festive season.
Kindly note that it has come to our attention that several affiliates have been notified by the Gaming Authority in the Netherlands (KSA) to cease providing their services to remote gambling operators in the Netherlands. This would appear to be directed against affiliates who have/are promoting operators that have been fined by the Gaming Authority. A list of such fined operators can be found in the following link: http://www.kansspelautoriteit.nl/bes...ctiebesluiten/ .
If you are one of these affiliates we kindly ask you to remove with immediate effect any promotional material or reference to sanctioned operators and furthermore stop providing a service to such operators, in order not to jeopardise the company's' operations in the Netherlands.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding and trust that you shall action the above immediately.

    Kind Regards,
    Quasar Gaming Affiliate Team

Ok, it was urgent at the 24th and still no response at all.

I mailed with one of the affiliate managers. He replied a few times, but acting like he doesn't understand the question. And after I wrote it that clear that there was no escape anymore, no answer anymore. This is not a good sign for us about Quasar Gaming. It seem they are unresponsive to serious questions. I also am worried about the link that there seems to be with Stargames.

Very sensitively to sent this out on Christmas day.
Hopefully, you also received at least an electronic Christmas greeting card from Quasar and not only this kind of message.

A bird can only sing all his song when there is a comfortable seat at a solid branch.
And first one must find such seat before continue singing.
So the non-frequently questions and answers department still suffer under the aftermath of your Christmas question.
Birds don't like firework ... and sometimes they don't care if it is Christmas or not and what this day means to some people.

The Quasar affiliate manager was trying to reply and is having issues logging into the forum. We are working on the issue and should have their access restored shortly. I just sent them new login info to try.

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the delay in Reply,

to answer your first Question, We sent out the above mailer to our affiliates letting them know that the Gaming Authorities in the Netherlands (KSA) had released a statement for all affiliates who are/were promoting casinos in the Netherlands who had previously been fined by the Gaming Authorities, to stop promoting them immediately. We even added a link to the list of casinos that were prohibited to promote to make it easy for them to find out if they were promoting any of the brands.

We sent out this mailer not only to make our affiliates aware that it is okay to promote Quasargaming in the Netherlands but also so the affiliate acts quickly before the Gaming Authorities take steps against them (this being the main reason why we sent the mailer out immediately after finding out ourselves even though it was Christmas time)

Triple 7 - I do apologize if there was any delay in answering your email. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly (jake.sn@quasaraffiliates.com)

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused
    Kind Regards
    Jake

The mail seem to be send to "not jeopardise the company's activities in the Netherlands" and not as a service affiliates. You did not add a link that make it easy to find out about which casinos we are talking here. You added a link with a bunch of PDF-documents about fines to casinos, but also coffee-bars, landbased slot operators, German Lotto and also fines that later were withdrawn. At one of the links were like 4 documents, dozens of pages each and to read in the final phrase that the fine isn't given in the end. It's absolutely unclear what action you expect us to do.

So again, the question: can you provide us a list with casinos you do not want us to promote anymore "to not jeopardise the activities" of Quasar Gaming in the Netherlands?

    "Hi Everyone"

An advice from an old man: I wrote it years ago to the Income Access guy and it's still my opinion, that it is extremely impolite to communicate in a forum as if the main dialog partner - in this case Triple7 - does not exist.

Even the Doctor, the Emergency Medical Hologram Mark from Starship Voyager, brought the audience closer to this simple but significant philosophy.

And still no answer from this company. It seems that this is the way they handle questions. Imagine if you have something serious with your commission or as a player with a won amount...

You can spend thousands in having a booth in Berlin or where ever, but if this is the way you handle questions, it makes no sense at all.

    Hi Triple7,

it is your decision weather you would like to continue promoting them or not in the Netherlands we simple informed that the Gaming Authorities in the Netherlands contacted affiliates to stop promoting these casinos immediately.

and you must not work with us closely, as if you did you would know that we are 100% dedicated to helping our affiliates whenever necessary.

I simply cant understand why you are taking this against us and so interested in making us look like the bad guys here.

The email was sent not only for the companies interests but also for the affiliates, I have made my email address public in order for you to contact me personally should you have had any problems whats so ever and I am positive any emails you sent to our generic affiliates mail was answered and we never heard anything back from you.

    Regards

Lol. Did you bother to click your link, Jake? I guess not. Otherwise, you would have noticed easily some more casinos than just 7red.com and comeon.com are mentioned. Also some mentioned operators do have other brands. So, provide a list please with which casinos we cannot promote anymore.

You're changing the point. On Christmas even you wrote:

It's not service, it's a request that we had to execute immediately (which means on Christmas eve) to not jeopardize your operations in the Netherlands. I do appreciate you inform affiliates, but the text of the mail points out it's written mainly because of your company's interest. And don't get me wrong, the company has the right to do so, but requests that have to be executed immediately, should be way more clear.
and you must not work with us closely, as if you did you would know that we are 100% dedicated to helping our affiliates whenever necessary.
This one is true. I do not work with you closely. And I must also admit that I don't think that will change in the future.

I simply cant understand why you are taking this against us and so interested in making us look like the bad guys here.
just I just ask a question about a mail that was sent by you. It was something urgent concerning the text of the mail. I guess questions about what I have to do than immediately on Christmas eve are legit questions. The problem here is not that I want to make you guys look bad here. The problem is that simple questions are not answered. It is very easy to write an e-mail and click send, but always people can have questions about the mail. Those questions should be answered I think.

The email was sent not only for the companies interests but also for the affiliates, I have made my email address public in order for you to contact me personally should you have had any problems whats so ever and I am positive any emails you sent to our generic affiliates mail was answered and we never heard anything back from you.

I do believe it was also sent for the affiliates, but the text of the mail says it's mainly because of the operator's interest. And like i wrote before, you got the right to do so, that's absolutely out of the discussion. I just ask to be clear about it.

It seems that an urgent Christmas eve request that had to be done immediately is changed now into some non-urgent mail that was just a service to affiliates.

    Best regards,

Reading your post, it seems that you want to make something personal of it or you think it's something personal. It's not.

You ask everybody to do something immediately, which means on Christmas eve or during the Christmas days. And even if it's done later, it's costing quite some time to scroll every document that is published there. The question is just about which operators we're talking. Considering the fact that you just mention 2 and that I notice way more, proves that it is a very valid question.

I guess you understand people want to comply very urgent actions that are required. That is not possible if there's discussion about "the list". Also for some people it probably means dropping brands they're making money with. That's fine if there is a reason to do so, but that should be clear. You've sent the request, so it's not weird to suppose that you exactly know what to do. Or am I wrong with that?
