    I quit, disappointed, no solutions

I am not interested anymore to post issues, findings here as these are not answered by the sponsor programs or held accountable.

Besides that I do not like my threads being "moved" by the GPWA mods.

I have said it once, twice but the third time has come to say a final goodbye.

    Bye !

That's something I can vouch for. I believe part of the sponsorship contract with a given brand should be "Speedy response to our members" otherwise what good is a separate section... and tons of unanswered posts. In fact perhaps make it even more aggressive, that it can breach your contract if they fail to respond within say 48 hours. This oughta make them pay attention to who's posting what...

I understand your aggravation, I'd probably do the same. However I'd encourage you to let emotions aside and you know keep on checking the forum for useful info.

I agree that the GPWA needs to be more aggressive toward programs that ignore affiliates. There should be accountability and response in the forums that they have. This has gone on too long, a program buys a sponsorship yet does not hold the standards set forth in it. For years affiliates see "Sponsor" and think it means "Recommended" when it is clearly not the case.

I guess it's all about the Benjamin's (how much more can we monetize the GPWA name).

Hey GCG don't give up just yet, otherwize they win. I know which thread you are referring to, and the apparent cause of your stats failures with this program. Apparently the database gets a hic-cup (db-lock) and conveniently loses high earning player stats.

It's also the same program that will cross promote their multitude of other casinos to your hard earned sign-ups.

I think GCG has more problems with "their" ATTITUDE, not stats.

    Hey Steve
I totally hear your frustrations and agree with them, which is why I generally don't post too much in the casino sponsor section and stick with general posts, however I also have to be fair to some of the casinos that do respond - lets not fall in the trap of tarring them all with the same brush. ( is that expression right?

Bottom line Steve - You are an important family member of the GPWA and I am sure I speak for others here as well as myself - don't allow the few rotten eggs in the basket put you off or make you feel that you are wasting your time.

GPWA does need to start being more stringent with their rules and clamping down on those that don't respond, and I know this has been raised time and time again and nothing seems to be done...but we also need to remember that although it may seem unethical GPWA does have bills to pay too, and if they kick all the casinos out that don't respond - how do they pay their bills? It is a catch 22 situation.

I am not saying I agree with it, but I suspect this is one of the reasons why a blind eye may be turned to certain things.

Whilst you may not be getting any responses from the casinos, your posts are not in vain as you are still helping fellow webmasters by deterring them from the program in question.

The unfortunate side in this is that many of us, including myself agree with many of your posts but just simply don't always have the time to give you the back up that you need, consequently making you feel that you are alone in your battle.

Again , this is not ideal, and although it may sound like a cop out - fom my side its a decision between tring to add some useful content onto one of my 160 sites, or getting embroiled in an argument with a casino which inevitably is going to lead nowhere except to cause further stress for myself and put me even further behind - so I simply turn a blind eye and move on, and sometimes in life one has to take the cop out way to keep the stress levels down.

Again , not ideal but that is the way life is, and life is not perfect.

Hey GCG (did not know we shared the same name). Listen - don't feel disappointed cause your certainly not alone in your feelings. Your not the first person to feel such frustration with the GPWA. Just consider all the old timers - the ones who contributed so much here over the years. Many or most have left and no longer post. My last post was December 14th. Then on January 31st i found it important to share a BWIN post.

Feeling the way you do will age you faster - just try and accept the fact GPWA is a (lack of a better word) Automobile. Automobiles need gas to keep running and it doesn't matter how much you wash your car and clean the insides to make it a really nice place to drive and hang out in - ultimately it needs gas and is only happy when its filled to the RIM. GPWA is sort of like that. It needs to grease everyones pockets and sometimes issues that we find important cant be solved because large DOLLARS are on the line.

If you do come back here - try and do so with no emotional investment. If you have emotional investment in this place your only going to feel really hurt in the end and go through what many of us long time very active users have had to face. Over the last couple of years this place has lost some really important people to me and thus I choose to only come back and read the forums. I do not care to be active because no one is really interested in what i have to share or say (very little do). Do I care? Not anymore! And my hope is you can get to that point where you will see this place for what it is. Its not really a close community of what it was a couple of years ago - its far from that. Just take out what you can get from this place like everyone else. Its like an automobile like i said - its here to get you from point A to point B - nothing else.

At any rate I have followed some of your posts and appreciate them - I choose to make a post to you cause i found you to be a valuable person and decent human being and respect what you have tried to do.

    Take care my friend!

Thanks all for for the upbeat comments.

However I will keep my number of posts limited, it just does not feel right to be ignored when there are important issues that need to be addressed by the sponsors.

I am not an active poster, but I try to stay updated and read mosts of the posts in here. I just want to thank you for your posts regarding Rewards Affiliates. I was\am relatively new to affiliate marketing, and after reading your posts about cross promoting and now "disappearing stats" and what not I will never even consider promoting them.

Even though you are not receiving all the thanx and support from other members in here that you deserve, I am sure that many others like me read your posts and find great value in them.

I have to disagree, I think GPWA is possibly the best gambling affiliate forum on the Internet. Granted you can't expect any website or forum to be perfect, but I think GPWA does a fantastic job. Its almost impossible to find another gambling forum with more active users, more threads, and better moderators in my opinion. I've been posting here for a while and I don't think I've ever seen any spam, its fantastic
