For the umpteenth time, we already have a content budget that is far from small!

I should have titled it, 100k to spend on SEO. Or $1,000,000, maybe people would stop telling us to spend more on content and answer the actual specific question :P

I would focus on building extremely high quality content (combination between video and text) that actually adds value to the reader value. Will spend some money on links of course.

    Hello!
Talking about links and sponsored posting. Tried to read some articles under "as seen on" block at the footer of your website but it seems to be a Jpeg. Would you share links to Forbes and Wiki posts abt your website if any?

I would either do a really good pbn myself which takes a lot of time. It does work and I don’t care what anyone says, it does! Or hire a friend that does them for gambling sites $10,000 would get a half decent one but it’s not a lot compared to what I know others have spent to get the results needed.

    $10,000 PBN job done

Or maybe just use a link research program to look them up for yourself if it matters to you.

I saw you asking people to answer the specific question which was:

"If you had $10,000 to spend on SEO efforts...

what would you spend it on?"

And that's what i would do, sorry I answered!!!!

This thread irritated me due to people not reading what I actually wrote and suggesting the same tired ****/diverting the purpose of the thread

WRT to PBNs, I already answered that on page 2

    Appreciate your thoughts though, cheers!

    Well, you're dead wrong.
10k worth of links is plenty to influence rankings if applied properly.

At no point in time did I ever ask "Will 10k be enough money to spend on links to improve rankings?"...

Can I turn the question around - as given your responses you've clearly had some experience with SEO purchasing.
I'd be keen on getting a basic primer for the good / bad and ugly of paid SEO efforts.

I generate plenty of cash flow each month from my site but have never bothered with any paid SEO for anything ...
    So :
    - What did you spend money on for SEO that worked in your opinion?
    - What do you spend money on for SEO that was a complete waste of time?
    - What will you spend your 10K for SEO on this month / year?

    Any guides ?

    1) I'll PM you
    2) Virtually everything offered in the links for sale section on GPWA (and everywhere else that they are publicly, semi-publicly offered)
    3) I would spend 10k a week on SEO if I could be more sure about the ROI, felt comfortable with the crew involved, etc. Unfortunately, virtually every "SEO" company I've ever talked to is horrid. They will put your business AT RISK with ****** PBNs, links on obvious link farms, old and untended domains, etc. In fact, this is why we don't use any of them.

In the gambling business, I find it damned near impossible to get any of the highly visible/seemingly reputable SEO companies to work with you. They just won't touch gambling sites for some unfounded fear of liability through association.

What I see is that if you have a site without content, you should definitely get backlinks.

I think your strategy is right, buying 2-3 links a month from quality niche-relevant websites or major news media is enough to give you the fuel you need to improve your position, but it all depends on the niche and the competition. If they are spending a bigger budget than yours you will have to compete with them for the love of google.

I'd personally buy links from "medium authority" websites. Not like Forbes, Mirror etc but some local newspapers that have traffic and ask up to $100 per post. So you can purchase at least 100 links. But don't do that
    1. Pick 3-5 pages that you want to promote
    2. Hire a freelancer in Upwork to build some free links to them
    3. buy 5-10 posts to each page (it depends)
    4. invest some money in a person who will manage the account on different social media and forum platforms
