iGaming Partners & 3rd Party Email

So what was this all about?

What makes you think that you should share our private email addresses with a third party?

Sure we can now follow a link to the third party site and ask for removal....but I am offended that you shared our details first BEFORE asking permission to do so.....

Before posting this, I did log in to the iGaming backend and check my profile details to make sure I had not authorized this...and nowhere in the profile setting are third parties mentioned....

....I consider the mailing spam and whether a method of removal is offered or not does NOT change the fact that it was performed and details were provided to a third parrty without permission.

This is iGaming Business isn't it? Its our third party email list - i.e. emails not relating to our products but for a partners product or service - They don't get the email list its simply sent from us with their content. I will speak to marketing about the from address and maybe have it changed to iGB instead of iGaming.

At the top though it has
"This message is from our sponsored partner.
We hope it's relevant, however if you no longer wish to hear from our partners again please
click here to manage your email subscriptions"
You can also click the unsubscribe and manage your subscription to our emails so you only get relevant messages

It is also has an igamingbusiness.com email but completely understand this isn't clear so will jump on this immediately and sorry for the confusion

    I stand corrected.......

iGaming Partners is or at least WAS Irish Luck.....

Alex, had YOUR logo been somewhere in the mailing I would not have made the mistake since I honestly though it was Irish Luck....

....however I will NOT be re-subscribing since (inmyopinion) our private details should NOT be shared with third parties before getting permission....

No worries and I understand -

I do want to clarify though that we do not share your private details this would be illegal and definitely something I would never do.... The email is sent from us on their behalf and its just to the 3rd party list which you can opt out of. They would only get your details if you contacted them. We also only send around 8-12 3rd party emails a year
