iGaming Super Show 2011 moves to Dublin plus positive changes

With all the work forllowing Budapest and prep for Madrid and London I completely forgot to post this which I think is a pretty dam good announcment - Expect this to be a bloody brilliant event!

iGaming Super Show Announces New Location and Key Changes for 2011

iGaming Business, leading publisher and events company in the online gambling industry, has today announced that Dublin will the new location for the award-winning iGaming Super Show (www.iGamingSuperShow.com) due to be held May 2011. The organisers have confirmed that in addition to the new location, significant improvements will be made to the event to help build on the success from the 2010 show.

The iGaming Super Show is unique in the online gambling industry in that it is targeted at both the business to business side of iGaming as well as the affiliate industry. It will continue on its winning formula and be completely free of charge for all delegates; the inaugural event in 2010 attracted over 2,500 delegates ranging from regulators and vendors through to operators and affiliates making it the biggest iGaming event to date.

“We were really pleased with the 2010 event and wanted to build on this success by moving the event to a more central location to increase delegate numbers as well as make some key changes to the event itself” Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business commented. “We have added in a new VIP networking program, focused on the B2B content early on, moved the two expo zones into one room, chosen a more central and modern venue, and will be significantly investing in getting the best delegates to the event”

In addition to these changes the iGaming Super Show will also be hosting what is expected to be the biggest networking event the industry has ever seen. The closing party will be the 50th birthday party of Bodog founder and iGaming entrepreneur Calvin Ayre, and open to all delegates attending the iGaming Super Show. Insiders at CalvinAyre.com have promised this will be bigger and better than the infamous 2005 Las Vegas party so expect this event to be the perfect close to what is expected to be the biggest event in 2011 for iGaming.

One of the reasons we also chose Dublin is its on the whole an easy place for people beyond Europe to fly to so no losing bags in transit etc etc.

The new venue and changes re b2b has apparently gone down really well at EIG and we already have a lot of interest so should be a bloody good event with a genuine mix of people from CEO's of big gaming groups to regulators and vendors and of course affiliates!!!

Never been, nor wanted to go, to Ireland.

Short trip for me at least.

ANYTHING is better than London in January

Looking forward to this show lots! Talked with someone (er...damn, who was it!) in Budapest about sorting out a golf day the day before the Dublin show too. Perhaps some sort of Europe vs ROTW game or something? If there are enough golfers around, would be fun and aparently the courses over there are great.

Hey, maybe Moshe can get the K Club to pay for going onto Golf Weather

I think the team from Fairway Casino Affiliates was talking of something like this.

Hi - the golf tourney the day before the show is something we are working on. Seems to tie into our name well, don't ya think?!

While still in the very early planning days, it will definitely be charitable based, and all program operators will be invited to join as sponsors.

We have received positive feedback already from Alex and from the GPWA team, and are very excited to work with both organizations to ensure that this is a fun, exciting and beneficial addition to the iGaming Super Show event schedule.

Something like this is an awesome idea..

If I happen to be at the show, I'd def be keen to participate.. I had some golf lessons when I was younger (my dad wanted me to be a professional golfer - seems it was his game and not mine) but I have to say I'm not so great..

Gian - would you guys be running an ambrose or something similar? Or just a flat out proper golf game every man for himself?

Re Dublin - I never would have guessed this would be the location, and it's nice that the country chosen was one that could definitely use our dollars being spent there.. Nice work Alex and the crew

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun, though bringing clubs to the conference would be a bit of a pain. I think it would be important to ensure they have lots of rentals on hand.
