iGB Affiliate Award Nominations Open

The 2010 iGB Affiliate Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on the 28th January 2010.

Nominations are open until the end of October, and I encourage every GPWA member to nominate those who they believe deserve awards.

This is your chance to show your support for the best affiliate programs, the best affiliate networks, the best iGaming software, the best payment system, and the best affiliate managers. A complete description of the award categories is available on the web at http://www.igbaffiliateawards.com/co...ard-categories.

And awards are also given for the best affiliates. Quoting from the award category descriptions:

Affiliates are the engines of the iGaming industry driving huge levels of traffic to the operators and as the sector has increased in size introducing both new games and territories so has the importance of affiliates. This category is here to recognize the best affiliates in iGaming from their abilities to rank through to their reputation in the affiliate community

The judges will consider the following key criteria:

•Brand Power
•Reputation with players
•Volume of traffic
•Quality of traffic
•Innovation
•History
•Ethics
•Reputation in affiliate community
•Growth
•Rank for key search terms

So be sure to nominate candidates for the judges to consider.

And if you'd like the nominiation process to show you are a serious contender, let folks on the GPWA forum know that you'd appreciate their support in the form of a massive number of nominations.

Rugby is awesome. But it is just so damn violent. I mean, people criticize Football for being brutal... at least they have protection.

Having said that, I gotta admit I love to go see MMA fights... so I can't really pass judgment.
