    Blair.H,
What website are you having problems with? Is it skullspokerandcasino.com? If so, I'm pretty sure it's not band from Google. It still shows up in the search index for "skullspokerandcasino". When my site was banned it did not show up for anything.

I see your PR is 0 for your skullspokerandcasino.com site. Did it lose PR? or is it a new site?

Le tme know what site it is and I'll look into it. Having had a site banned and others penalized I kinda got a feel for it!

From my understanding if you type in your url and the page comes up you are indexed for the search engine you are using.

Maybe folk are not finding you by way of search due to your choice of keywords ? I don't know, just trying to throw something out there that might be of help.

According to the book I'm reading content is king ,the more the better , and make sure to have good keywords.

I had a quick look at your home page tags:
title: Skulls Poker and Casino - Your Safest Online Casino Portal
    generator: WordPress 2.6
    generator: WordPress 2.6
description: All you need to know about online gambling and great signup bonuses. Skulls has loads of great casinos and poker rooms to offer. We are one of the safest online casino portals...
keywords: Casino, poker directory, casino portal, poker bonus, casino bonus, card games, online gambling, free money, beat the house, gambling online, play online, online casinos, black jack, slot machines, texas holdem, casino reviews
    verify-v1: /8n7Bt4xshIx7QH/awJW2elh5sQN+tECcvgQh6CVrsc=

    the title tag is good
description is too long - should be 9 - 18 words and needs to be better optimized for your keywords. Most important key words or phrases should be within the first few words. Try re-writing it a few times til it sounds good but still contains the most relevant words at the beginning.

This is a great tool to test your meta tags: Web site promotion tools - SEO Doc Mini Version

A lot of your directory pages are being indexed such as this one:

    http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...q7UPDpHtPWgdTw

That's gotta be a big problem for the spiders. Out of 56 or 57 indexed pages, only 9 are actually pages you want indexed. This is your first priority... get someone with wordpress experience to figure out the problem!

looking at your SilverSands Casin page in FireFox I'm finding this typo... Deposit R1888 and get 100% up to R1888 FREE - Use code: K3XTG Second Deposit
Deposit R4000 and get 75% up to R3000 FREE - Use code: TD8FH

    Content
Try adding more content to your pages and make sure that you get your keywords at the beginning and the end of the page.

Using SilverSands as an example, write enough content to fill the page. Try adding some screen shots to break up the text.

Just keep working on it. You won't get traffic from searches until your pages are ranking high enough for the surfers to find them.

Sometimes if you make a lot of changes like that it can stall in the searches too. I think pokerkeep is correct...patience.

Hello Blair, I'm reading the third edition of the SEO for dummies. A lot of useful info and it's written in simple terms that an old noob like myself can understand. A lot of good info on the net, but I'm old school and still like to read books that I can get my hands on. I'm finding out that I pretty much just wasted the first few years of what I was doing .
    And as PokerKeep mentions..patience .

Like Skinski, I'm an old timer and knew nothing about seo, serps, html, etc prior to launching My site. I spent the first year making every mistake imaginable with The Pokerkeep. It got to the point where I scrapped all my pages back in February and started over from scratch... went from PR3 to PR0 on my home page.

    As Mojo pointed out
Sometimes if you make a lot of changes like that it can stall in the searches too.
During the rebuilding process I applied all the tricks and tips I learned from GPWA and other forums and patiently waited.

It took a couple months for the changes to affect my search results but this week 64% of my traffic came from Google organic searches! Some inner pages are getting nearly as many hits as my home page.

Each week, I still tweak pages, meta tags, title text, content, etc, on some of my pages in an effort to increase their presence in the serps.... tweak & test, tweak & test... it's an ongoing excercise these days. lol

During the last PR update, my home page went to PR2 along with my blog and a few inner pages. I also have a number of pages showing up in top 10 on Google for their keywords now. I even have a couple of number 1 spots now!

    What I've learned is:
    Content is KING!
Optimizing each page is critical for good serps.
No one really understands Google's Algorythms.
    Don't be afraid to experiment.
    Be patient!
