I also believe in that wholehearedly, BigB - or what I call "present-life Kharma".

But I think my all time favorite, and the basis for my achievements, is

"Whatever (wo)man can conceive, (wo)man can achieve"

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find what it is that interests you and that you can do well, and when you find it, put your whole soul into it -- every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have.

That only which we have within, can we see without.

If we meet no Gods, it is because we harbor none.

If there is a grandeur in you, you will find grandeur in porters and sweeps.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do.

Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

"The world breaks everyone - but some become stronger in the places they were once broken"

I think it was Ernest Hemingway...

(I dont know if they are words of hope or the opposite?)

Greatness comes not when things always go well for you, but true greatness comes when you are really tested...when you take knocks, some disappointments...when sadness comes. Because only if you have been in the deepest valleys can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain. (Unknown)

Argue for your limitations and sure enough, they're yours. (Richard Bach)

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
