The "Greatness" quote comes from Nixon's resignation speech.

I am not sure if his writers "borrowed" it.

This could have been him quoting some-one or just a throwaway line, I'm not sure, but at the Live 8 concert Bono said, "Our moment, our time, our chance".

It really hit home with me, as did much of the vision throughout the concert. Not necessarily motivational but it did make me thankful for what I have.
