Interesting Developments with CPAYS/AFF UNITED

I have a concern to date. I like my AM right now, she is top notch. I feel she has been good to me but i am somewhat upset. Here's why.

A few days i asked how many PRS (Poker Room School) sign ups i had. These CPL's (Cost per leads) pay out $20USD per player.

Simply put our goal as affiliates is to send them numbers. We do not see their rake, its just traffic.. we send it and they convert the players. They have been doing this for some time well over a year.

I emailed asking how many i had becuase as usual their stats are non functional as yet. Thats ok i trust it! I had 12.

I was asked if i could promote William Hill for a posible good promotion, but it was a must i give top placement.

I informed them i could not do this because i had a previous contract with another site.. but said i could promote another way non top spot. Asked to send me details.. along with this they confirmed my rate was still $20 per CPL for PRS even after the merge with Aff United.

The next day being today i get an email... telling me they have choice but to cut my rate of CPL in 1/2 .. $10/Player instead of $20

I couldn't believe it and felt so upset!! But of course it was not my AMS fault it just so happened by chance the decision was made.

WHen asked if this was across the board.. no it was hand picked.

Has any other affiiate been penalized like this?

Should i continue being treated like this and promote or should i just give up?

This is so fustrating, why change to a new system if it's not working 100%, none of my bingo players have transfered over yet so I can't check my stats I've just been told it's coming 'soon' arghh

Sorry but why do so many affiliates still insist on working with these crooks? Read the rest of this forum or google "cpays", and if you still want to promote their properties, stop complaining when your stats and players go missing. Its inevitable.

There are hundreds of better casinos, poker or bingo joints to promote.

My AM has been looking into my problem for over three days now and still no answers. It has to be said that considering you advertise innovation that you and your team are not showing any innovation, in fact I have seen more innovation from my cat.

I will be sending a PM and email to the AM to get this sorted which will mean work over your weekend. I wish Charles or Ralph would look into your work, really I do.

William Hill's reputation is becoming part of your mess, and you don't seem to want to tidy it up quick enough.

Not much to add other than I can't login to the new system using the details that AFFUTD sent me?!? and await feedback from my AM.

Also, prior to June 08, around when AFFUTD got involved I think (don't quote me on that) - I had converted 35 users at William Hill sportsbook in around 6 months. In 13 months since, I have not converted a single one. At first I thought it a coincidence but after reading this thread I'm not so sure. Anyone else notice a serious dip in sign-ups?

Since WHill is moved to new aff system at AFF UTD, I see only discrepancy in stats; one day saying 10 clicks for particular date and then login next morning and see 0 for the same.

Not to mention that I had some small earnings in the old WH system that have never been paid or transfered to AFF UTD account. It is few £ only and not really something to be worried about, but this shows that there is no transparency in their business. If I had few K's what then???

Similar to selectabet, I have had approx 20+ signups in May/June 09 when I started promoting WH with bonus of £25. Now I have bonus of £100 and no signups? Not likely.

I feel sorry for William Hill, I think they are good and respected house, but will not achieve much with AFFUtd but destroy their reputation among affiliates. Sorry boys, but you are going off my site on next update.

No offence intended but I would be asking myself is all this worth perusing. Consider what if you needed not to babysit AFFUTD slash Cpays, same people different name. Valuable time and real estate could be spent on a more reputable program.

Cpays would peddle anything if it would make them a buck. Not that I have anything against it but it is the manner that matters most. They’re a wicked bunch of liars, cheats, and bullies. Whose ethical standards rival those Bernard Madoff …ah maybe their one of same. Maybe the former governor if Illinois who put up his senate seat up for auction lol. Cpays lacks any civility, nobility and would likely jack a homeless person’s cart if it were profitable.

So I ask myself why bother with these gangsters? Have they not lobbed off one too many heads? Have we learned nothing from their sadistic history?

They jack the stats all the time give them no exit.

My apologies to the AFFUTD rep I know most of this is not your fault. Unfortunate you are not allowed access to the board table full of cronies.

DROP THESE GUYS!!!! Cpays and anything to do with Cpays is untrustable...PERIOD! Affiliates need to stop wasting time with these guys. Time and time again I read about issues surrounding stats and payments with Cpays/Aff United.

They are an untrustable outfit and should be ignored no matter how sweet they try to make an offer. I even had one fool who was an affiliate mgr there ask me repeatedly for my freaken password!! and changed my stats also, change terms etc.

Beware, jump in bed with this lot then don't complain when you get burned. I could care less how many times they come into a forum and claim how proffesional they are or how they are working hard to fix issues - BU%^S^&T - don't believe it because if it were true you'd stop seeing posts like this over and over and over.....same day, same crap.

Maybe if they actually tried to run a professional outfit maybe then they might have some real respect from affiliates but I doubt they will ever happen.

What keeps me with them for now is my affiliate manager. I like her and think shes above board... but of course each month i lean towards dropping them.

I hope somehow things will change.. well see!!

William Hill made me an attractive offer and I've given them the best banner spot and #2 in my comparison table - I had no problem with this as from a player perspective they are excellent.

However, the Aff Utd stats show 1 (one) signup in the last 30 days.
I have operators near the bottom of my list which perform better.

My thinking was that lots of people will already have accounts as it is a leading brand and things may be a bit saturated. However, it seems Aff Utd don't have the greatest reputation.

I got my money upfront so I'm not worried, I will just see how things go.
