    Intertops-Microgaming split?

Buzzy thinks everyone has pretty much figured this out for themselves, but EGamingReview is reporting that the Microgaming and Intertops are going their separate ways....

I read a few articles about this but not sure if this is a different one. Anyone know of the new software?

They still have the MGS casinos active. Adding RTG, rather than replacing. Besides that Royal Joker is also alive and well.

Intertops green and Royal Joker are not accepting new players. I have been removing them.

    Got this yesterday:

    Dear Paula,

We apologize for the short notice, but we have to inform you that with immediate effect our Intertops GREEN Casino and the Royal Joker Casino can no longer accept new sign-ups.

We have, however, taken steps to re-direct your leads to the new Intertops RED Casino website. This will ensure that you maximize your traffic sent to Intertops!

Rest assured that the tracking of your customers to Intertops GREEN Casino and Intertops RED Casino works across all our platforms, so you will not lose out on any referrals.

We have set up the tracking from Intertops GREEN Casino to Intertops RED Casino as a priority. Tracking from Royal Joker Casino to Intertops RED Casino will be upgraded shortly and we shall advise you as soon as this is complete.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.

    Your Intertops Affiliate Team

I also wonder if they will actually put any other information up on their site about the casino....other than the splash page.

There is very little info available, the splash page, a promotions page and a little news.

Not too much info about them, the software, the games, screenshots, progressives....there is however a bit more avilable if you follow the Green Casino link....

Thanks, Mojo. I must've missed that email. Considering they only recently brought Royal Joker online, this is a surprising development.

I was just in the process of posting my newsletter, and this will be of major interest to quite a few players who have accounts with Intertops and play there regularly.

MGS may have been unhappy with Intertops for getting around the "no new US Players" rule at Royal Joker, by giving US Players accounts who already had them with Intertops Casino.

I emailed Roman yesterday about the situation and from his response I understand:

MGS casino remains active for existing players (Green Casino)
No new player sign-ups on the Green Casino
All new players redirected to the RTG (Red) Casino

    Seems to make sense.

I can understand Microgaming's response. They don't want to be associated with operators marketing to new US casino players and their policy on this has been clear.

    Edit:

Regarding tracking this was his reply:

"At Intertops a player needs only one account for all the action. So the players use the same account in the MGS casino and the RTG casino. And this account is market (sic) as referred by you, no tracking is lost."
