    iSnare not Approving Articles

    Greetings to you all!
I am happy to be a new member at GPWA. I have recently started a casino portal web site and of course I am learing as I go along. I have only used iSnare to distribute my articles, and unfortuantely they have not approved any of my articles since May 7th! This is VERY disappointing to say the least. I have decided that I can not depend on just one article distributor. I was wondering if anyone can recommend some good places to submit my articles. I am also wondering if iSnare has stopped distributing articles for the casino industry...has anyone heard anything about this?

I had the same problems with ISnare too before so I quit submitting articles to them. Now I'm preferring ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and expertarticles.com.

    Article Submissions

Also Article Dashboard. However, it may take 1-2 weeks to have your articles processed, in view that they are really backed up.

Also, Articles Base. Very quick processing.

Like iSnare, stay away from Article Pool.

Thanks for the advice. I submitted an article to ArticleBase.com this morning just to try it out and see what the resutls were and they are very fast...my article was approved a couple of hours after submitting it. Wow...happy with them so far. I only submitted one article since it did say in their guidelines that they do not accept articles for online casinos, so I wasn't sure if they were going to accept it or not. But all went well.

    Article Directories

I am surprised to hear that about the online gambling policy at Articles Base. I have published over 100 articles there and have never had any problems.

Now about Buzzle. It is a very fine directory and will accept articles about online gambling. However, Buzzle changed its "editorial guidelines" about a year ago. Prior to that change, I had published articles there and did not have any problems. And then all of my articles were getting rejections. Reason? Buzzle wants sole rights to any article. It cannot be published anywhere else.

    According to Buzzle:

"Articles that are already published online will not be accepted. Please understand that it is important for us to ensure we do not publish any plagiarized articles. At the time of editing a pending article, editors will search the Web to check if article already exists on any other website. If it does, or if it is wholly or partially plagiarized, editors will delete the article submitted on Buzzle.com, and mark the author account for possible termination if duplicate content gets repeatedly submitted from the account."

    Hope that this helps.

    Article Directories

In addition to the other directories mentioned, Amazines and Free-Articles-Zone are good and will accept gambling-related articles.

    Hope that this helps.

You can do it yourself. The resources is there. What you need to do is to have a good search on some of the free article sites. This list might be a big help for yah, http://www.directorycritic.com/artic...tory-list.html

All good suggestions, however, be sure that the article directory offers 'do follow' links. That's the reason I stopped using isnare, plus one of the article distributors directed the link to teachers.com and not gamblingteachers.com
I contacted them several times, but no go.

In relation with TPBM's concern about nofollow directories, I think you might get annoyed to discover that articlebase is actually nofollow thus posting articles to them might be useless. That's why I didn't include it to my suggestion although I'm submitting some of my article there.

I just checked out some articles at articlebase, and I couldn't find any "no follow" attributes anywhere. Do they have them excluded in the robots.txt file?

Is there any reliable than EzineArticle. As quick as posting, there goes your entry, with no hustle waiting a day or two before it approve unlike other article source out there.

When you post links or anchored links in the author box or the body, it's actually nofollow. Say for example this article http://www.articlesbase.com/online-g...no-894056.html

Thanks for all of the feedback. I followed the link raphnix sent us, but in the code I did not see "nofollow". Where do you see the "nofollow"?. Interesting about Buzzle. I was just about to go ahead and register with them and submitt articles. Problem is I have been going around to various article distributors and I have submitted the same articles to them all (all new articles, but I included the ones iSnare was not approving since May). So I guess they are a no go. I know that in a lot of the article directories they consider it spam to submit the same aritcle more than once. However, do you think this is a good idea to go around to various directories submitting the same articles. For example, I have so far gone to Articlebase, Amazines, ArticleSnatch, and GoArticles. I am still trying to figure out my strategy for the future. I am planning on continuing my submission with EzinceArticles, Article Dashboard and Free-Article-Zone. What I am basically trying to do is see how they respond and determine who works best. Of course, It is time consuming going around to each distributor, but I feel like its my best option right now. Anymore thoughts?

Thanks for clarifying. I went to a back link checker and I found all my articles were indeed "no follow" from article base.

If you want to know if a link is no follow, there is a great add-on with FFox called Quirk Search Status that highlights no follow links.
You can preset it for other info like link report , who is, alexa rating of a page--too many to list.
    It's at: http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/

As an aside, I also downloaded another great resource for
SEO and number geeks like me It's SEO Quake, again lots of presets and available as an add-on.
I'm sure Gary the Scuba Guy knows this add-on well.

Thank you for that! I already have and use SEO quake, but didn't know about the Quirk add-on - just installed it and had a play with it, very useful indeed.
