I have a newer site that used to be a PR3 ranked site. www.pokersatellitecenter.com is the URL.

Last google update I lost all PR ranking. I had done nothing to change anything on the main page and lost all PR. Any thoughts?

Could this have been to some of the early link trades I did for this site I found had gone dead. So I was linking to a dead site and not getting anything back from it. However, the outbound links were on a different page then my main page.

Any thoughts?

Also, anyone interested in trading links with this site>?

Nice site. I have a similar problem with firefox with one of my sites. Firefox is a pain in the backside - Still it does account for a sizable minority of visitors that use it that hit my sites. So it is on my ever growing to do list.

A case of firefox not liking Microsoft Products such as .net and .asp. The majority of web users still use IE though, so unless you have major issues with Firefox browsers viewing your sites, I wouldn't worry too much.

Site is still indexed by Google, so you haven't been blacklisted or banned. The lost of PR probably isn't much to worry about. Seems a lot of peeps across all industries lost some PR on the last Google update. In any case, just watch your rankings and keep focusing on link building and you should be good.

You would probably have more success with your link exchanges if you broke your link page down. Currently you have one link page with 100 outgoing links on it.

kidd75219 makes a very good point. Really, you should try to limit each link page to about 25 to 30 out going links max.

SmackDog, the Other Marketing Offers section of the forum is generally reserved for private members and sponsors, but since you have been participating in a respectful way and currently have a private membership application under review, I think it would be ok for you to use the Other Marketing Offers section to post your link exchange offers.

There are two link-related private forums to use once an applicant is admitted as a private member. There is one designated for link exchanges and a second one designated for one-way link sales.

Not really sure what to suggest. In March one of my friend's sites went from a PR4 to PR0 and then last month back to PR3. I have always been a PR4 but last month Google dropped me to a PR3. I wouldn't worry about PR (even in SEO articles the Search Engine Professionals say PR don't mean all that much).

I don't use Firefox much but as I recall they offer an add-on to show errors on a .html which might help you get your site displaying better in their browser.

I am person as you (one.....guide), I give too importance to pr.

focusing on pagerank, I give less importance to marketing. ( it is better one link pr0 where you can obtain new 30 visitors than one link pr3 where you obtain 0 visitors ).

You got it helpyou. I have seen on SEO forums webmasters complaining that PR0 sites have been listed in the top positions in the search engines. I don't know all that much about SEO but I believe I have even read that Vanessa Fox from Google says PR isn't as important as it's cracked up to be. If I remembered where I read this (or other PR articles) I'd place a link here for you, but my memory is that of an 80 year old with Alzheimers

As for the backlinks, i see some of good links to your site, but may be any of these sites from you have gotten links, may have bad reputation in google!

well my opinion is that you should go for quality links and quality links do not always come from high PR websites.

I am saying this because I think you shouldn't worry about losing PR now... many sites did lose... You just keep up the good work with quality and offer your visitors the best you can.
