I would really ignore Page Rank, it has little to do with serps these days.

One good authority link such as from a site like casinocity.com will far outweigh and add to your sites overall posiitioning in the serps - Rather than gaining 100 iamthebestcasinoportalonline.com type of links.

To increase the serp, I think that is better to have 10 000 links pr0 that one link from one good website.

Think of it this way if you open a shop on the high street selling clothes and 10 normal everyday people say its great and they like the shop they will tell others and you will get business. But if a major celebrity or the president shops there and says he likes the clothes he will drive in loads of business far more than those 10 people. Quality links are the key!

Helpyou, these guys are correct. One quality link from an authority site is worth much more than any number of low PR links.

I think you're worrying way too much about PR, which, as Webzcas says, means a lot less these days than it used to. The large search engines use many different ways of deciding what content to list at the top of the serps.

to have the major celebrity is very expensive for your shop, you must pay if you want one celebrity.

My shop is very small and I don't have the resource of Webzcas, Aksana and Doolally then nothing celebrity for my shop.

I must use one strategy different to obtain one day the celebrity links.

I do not think that High PR means the links are good quality links! As per me PR is one of the small factor for Google while deciding or calculating SERP's via its algo.

pr0 is pr0, pr0x2500 = pr0. But if these links are high quality and they have pr3 after several months then it will be helpful. But usually links from forums don't have high PR.

in average in one page of 50 links :
one link pr5 is = 625 pr1.
one link pr6 is = 3215 pr1.

is it more simple to you to obtain 625 pr1 or one pr5 ?

I think you are focusing way too much on the PR value. PR doesn't really translate to much. Besides, a PR0 site today may be a PR3, PR4, or even PR5 site tomorrow. I have 8 sites running right now, all across different categories. Every one of them started at PR0 and after one Google update went from PR3 to PR5, depending on the site. It hasn't made any difference at all in my SERPs nor has it made any difference in my traffic. So, try not to worry about PR so much.
