Default Low Conversions - 154 clicks and 1 signup

Now that I found the right place to post this message, I just want to ask if it is normal to get 154 clicks in half a month and get only 1 signup and no deposits.

Not sure if C-planet products are just poor converters or if there are some backend problems going on at the company.

Also, can some fellow affiliates point me towards some better converting programs that accept US players if there are any? I would really appreciate the help.

    Thanks
    Regards

I hope your conversions improve. There is more than clicks and sign ups. How is your CPM, how are you testing and what kind of reports are you running? are you making changes based on your testing and reports? if not, then you are always going to be wondering why your conversions are not improving and where the problem is.. the trafic?.. the offer?...

    Hope this helps amigo

Here is my site if you would like to take a look at it: http://www.lolblackjack.com/

All traffic is Organic (free) and I see what people type into the search engines with my stats program. They find what they are looking for, then they go around my site for awhile reading other things, and then they click on banners and links....

I really don't know what the mystery is on why they are not signing up unless they are disappointed by the casino or something. Please take a look at my site and let me know if you are seeing something that I am not seeing. Offer some advice to convert better or if there are programs out there that tend to convert better.

    Thanks

I have experienced the same thing, and have been at this for over two years now, I have had some conversions on my site but they sloooowly seem to be improving, you must remember there is a ton of competition out there, and its like any other business, you have to build trust with the clients and branding is very important.

You have to take in to consideration what you would do if you where going to play. me personally I would not just click and play, I would do some research first and go in to it slow, not everyone is going to click download and play the first casino they see.

Just keep on doing link exchanges good articles, social networking and most of all be patient and you will begin to convert, like any business it just takes time and lots of hard work.

I agree with what's said above, but it's possible the reason is simpler. You have a blackjack site and your banners are all bonus banners. Have you checked the WR's on the C-Planet casinos for playing BJ under a bonus? 60x D&B minimum I expect - if they even allow it.

My gut feel would be move away from bonus banners to something more appealing to your audience based on the search terms they used to fnd you.

I also noticed that you don't appear to have any info at all on the casinos, just banners. In some cases you can get away with it, but you're basically sending your potential players to a casino that most players won't have heard of, licenced in somewhere that means nothing to them, using software they don't recognise with no guarantee it's certified as fair.

Hope that helps a little anyway.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the additional advice.

Simmo!, What does "WH" and "D&B" stand for?

I did find a really nice blackjack-specific banner for "live blackjack tournaments" at the top 728x90 banner.

Rod.Collins and Simmo!, I am assuming your advice is to start writing casino reviews or something of that nature, right? That way visitors can finish their research, read about the casinos, see what kind of technology they use, where they are licensed and available games they have?

You are right, I have been reluctant to write about that kind of material because I fear Google might start seeing these pages as spammy (since literally everyone has pages like this) and I've been having major problems with Google rankings as it is already.

I will start thinking about making a section like this though, I have to try it to see if it works.

May I ask if you have any blackjack-specific or pure blackjack niche sites available for link exchange?

    Thanks
    Best

WR = Wagering Requirement. D&B = Deposit and Bonus. So a 60x D&B WR means the player has to play through 60x their deposit and bonus before they can cashout. On a 100% match bonus on $100, thats 60 x 200 = $12,000. Or put another way, a lot A lot of players, myself included, prefer to play without a bonus so we don't have a cashout restriction when (if) we win.

Basically, yes thats right. Look at it this way: you probably have one chance to make sure a customer gets what they want, so to give them as much info - honest info - that helps them decide while you still have them as a captive audience makes most sense.

I'd rather they knew that something wasn't good while I still have them, rather than let them find that out after they've left my site. Hence why I think a degree of honesty pays...plus it encourages loyalty.

Sorry to mention this Peppy, but C-Planet Casinos no longer offer blackjack tournaments. In fact, I don't think any Realtime Gaming casino does anymore. There's some Vegas Technology ones that do, I believe.
