As an affiliate manager, I would give anything to know what it is I need to write in my emails in order to get a reply... Even if it's a no, even if you want to use profanity, whatever - just reply to my emails! I do my best to appear as a real email and not spam, which I am after all a real person and not a machine...
Anyways, I don't know, as much is it sucks to get tons of emails everyday, it sucks no less to be ignored ; )
Well then start trying something else, other than email, email, email 24/7. The reason why most affiliates don't respond is a) we would be there all day if we responded to the mountains of emails we get b) "no" is normally translated to "try harder" and it gets to the stage where people start griping on forums like this one.
Start thinking outside the box a bit and you may avoid so much dissapointment.

To start with... Actually look at my website. More than one page. Tell me what you are going to give me to help fit your site in. For example, you look at my website - you see I have reviews for each site and and list all the games the casino offers.
Next - tell me all the basics of your program. Where do you operate. How much commission do you offer (and don't say "up to 30%" when it starts at 20%). How will you pay me? Where do you take players from? What geographies are the best for your casinos. What bonuses and promos would be the best to promote on my site.
Basically - you cannot send the same email to every affiliate and get a response. If you take the time to get to know each affiliate and their website BEFORE contacting them, you have a better chance to get a response. But of course, your program must have some respect in the community before expecting a response as well.
Thanks for your replies guys, I appreciate it a lot.
As for what brean78 wrote - I usually try to make a phone call, but most webmasters don't put their phone numbers on the their sites nor does the whois search shows it, so I settle for an email. But I get your message and totally understand what you mean.
Matted - Do affiliates really want all that information in a first email? would someone read all that? Seems too exhausting... I kinda thought it was better to send a short email letting you know I'm interested in affiliation, and then letting you check us out and deciding whether we have something to talk about. It's like hitting on a girl - I'm not gonna start telling her all the reasons why we need to get married, all the wonderful kids we're gonna have, the house, the money... I'm gonna ask her out on a first date and then she'll decide if she wants to continue... I have found that the shorter the email - the better are the chances of getting replied. Of course, I need to put something in to show that it's not a template... Still, you would know better than me so I hear what you say and take it with me for the future. I guess the approach needs to be revised from time to time and every affiliate has their own agenda.
Thanks guys and good luck to us all.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
Dude, you are right, most affiliates do not want to be phoned. The only time I want to speak on the phone with the manager is if I have an existing relationship.
I dont mind 1 email from a program to let me know they launched... but truth be told I ignore those because I get too many of them and its impossible to try out each new program. I have had to use private whois on most of my websites as to avoid all the spam.
Also... some affiliates like me have 100s of websites, if I have 300 websites I don't need to be contacted 300 times.
Maybe you should try a different method of promoting your affiliate program. You could try the methods everyone else is trying, offer a select few affiliates that you know higher commissions, advertise on various forums, attend various industry conferences...
Whatever you do quit spamming!!!!
2 calls on my mobile in 24 hours from 2 different people - both promoting Lucky Ace Partners.

Never have or will I spam anyone. Besides I work for an operator, meaning just one website that has an online gaming platform, so I figure this is different than just another affiliate program. We are doing pretty good, I just wanted to know how I can elevate the % of people replying my emails/messages etc.
Thanks for all the tips, it's always good to hear what the other side is looking for, and I'll keep all in mind.
Can't believe, something like that is happening, I received today another email from LUCKY SPAM . The guy who sent email was very upset why I didn't replyed to his email because other affiliates already make big money.. and I lose a big oportunity.... , other affiliate already have depositors... ok.. that's enough for me..
IF ANYONE FROM LUCKY SPAM.. IS READING THIS THREAD.... LOOK I'M NOT INTERESTED TO PROMOTE LUCKY SPAM ...
I just received the email from Dave. He is obviously going through this forum I would guess.
Thanks for the comments above.
So far I received about 80 E-mails and 5 phone calls from LuckyAce.
Please stop this SPAM - based agressive marketing! Or no one (well, smart webmasters definitely) will not join your program.
They started spamming us again. They did it before, by first calling me on the phone no. listed in whois. I've told them that I'll take a look at their site and aff. program, but then decided not to join. Since that they've sent me a lot of mails, newsletters and other spams. This started about 2 years ago, and went on for about a year. They also tried to call me a couple of more times, but I didn't bother answering the phone (as their phone number was hidden).
Then it all kinda stopped for a while.
But yesterday I got 3 mails to 3 different mail addresses. One to my email listed in whois, which is privacy protected since I've joined the GPWA, so they must've stored it somewhere. All their mails had CC to my webmaster address, so I've got the same mail 6 times.
So I'm publicly telling them to STOP SPAMMING ME and blacklisting them. I've also replied telling them we're not interested and to stop sending me those mails.

IM sorry but i have to disagree, i think luckyace is NOT an honest program and i say this because when i tried to work with you i got my deal changed without my consent\opinion for 3 times in the space of 5 months or less. of course in any of the terms change i was the lucky part i got ****** like normal....
I got all sort of shady communications, like changing my deal to a revenue share and sending me the following justification and i quote
"My boss asked me to send you the tracker so he can understand the value of your players"
So this is basically calling me an idiot its clear they were not happy with player value but still insisted its was a measure, sending this AFTER they changed my trackers, and never for one second i got a clear response on why my deal was consistently changed.
In the later days after adding Mr. Gary Smith on msn and insisted on this be rectified his final words were
"Dont contact me again...."
And so i did and i have decided not to promote ever again NOTHING regarding 888 group or luckyace ever again
I always got my money on time this is true BUT does not excuse the lack of respect and good sense...
Regarding the recent spam i keep receiving some to undefined address i only get because of the catch all feature. for emails unused like webmaster@mydomain.com and stuff in this line....![]()
This is unbelievable. I emailed this guy yesterday, and said we DON'T want to be affiliates. He said ok, kinda appologised for the spam.
Guess what happens today? I've just got off the phone with another guy from LuckySpam. It was the second call today.
STOP CALLING THE NUMBER LISTED IN WHOIS!!!![]()
Anyone associated with 888 is in to spam and black hat seo marketing... Big time.
I have all these spammers blacklisted and I have had them blacklisted since they launched for all the reasons stated in this thread.
These people at lucky ace spam factory are what makes this business have bad name... The online casinos business would be far far better off with the these low life types...
These guys prey on webmasters... Why support an outfit that does everything in it's power to steal money from you?
Do yourselves (and all of us) a favor and don't wait... blacklist lucky ace today!

These guys are amazing, they used PrivacyProtects contact form to send me an e-mail about working with them. I can't believe this.
The message was in Hungarian but it didn't contain a single correctly spelled word. F*ck off LuckyAss!
